Blunts are, by far, my favorite way to smoke. Nothing beats a nice 3.5g blunt between 2-3 friends:spliff:

Just buy a pouch of tobacco and some papers and sit down and practice. You dont have to even smoke them and it will cost less than 5 dollars.

or you could buy a cigarette roller :)
i'm about to invest in one of those pretty soon, since they're cheap anyway

i can roll joints, but they're not the greatest.. i'd rather have nice perfect joints.

the thing about cig rollers is you have to be careful to not roll it too tight, my buddy uses a roller and all the time it ends up packing the bud way to tight. I personally can roll a nice J by hand faster than he can get everything situated and rolling correctly in the roller.

yeah, i used to use a roller. they come out looking just about perfect every time, but it can be tricky to get a smokable joint. and they're often more densely packed in some parts than others...

the most common problem is they get so tight that the draw is so tough its nearly unsmokable.

its better to just practice practice practice

I have a roller that works amazingly, you just have to know how to use it. I could invest in a cone shape roller, but there is nothing better than rolling a joint by hand.

    IMO Cones > straight jays

as a general rule i agree that handrolled joints are best.

however, when it comes down to it the quality of joints i've made with these:
    http://www.rollies.com/Papers/View.php?SerialNum=HB-CONES-D-BOX50

has always far surpassed any i could roll by hand or machine, and have surpassed the quality of joints and blunts some of my friends who are MUCH better rollers than i am have rolled....

basically these things are expensive, but they work very, very, very well and i HIGHLY recommend them to ANYBODY who likes joints but can't roll for shit.

in fact, i think that even people who can roll a good joint can enjoy these very much sometimes.

they hold a ton of weed, burn perfectly, and because they're prerolled by machines (like cigarette tubes) there is no overlapping paper at all! the entire joint end to end is ONLY ever single thickness except for a small seam. the paper used is good, too; when its stuffed you can pretty much see through it.

i actually am considering ordering some of these in the near future. i can roll, but these come out better. i prefer them to blunts, even.

they look similar to the cyclone cone-shaped blunts you see at headshops and gas stations sometimes, but they're bigger and in my experience work better

I have a joint roller, it would just be nice to be able to do it myself because A. your cant roll anything but a straight joint, and B. you need to use a fair ammont of weed for it to work welll, you cant just make a mini joint.

I've used those cones before, they are awesome. I always have a hard time packing the thinnest portion of it though. It always ends up that I have a killer cone with a weak spot just above the crutch and I feel like its going to flop over on me. But overall I prefer them to blunts as well as they can hold a very sizable amount of pot and the pot isn't as masked by tobacco leaf so you get the flavor of the bud you are smoking and not much else.

^i havent had that problem, but the times i was using those i had dry middies, ground well in a grinder....it worked perfectly every time....you just have to tamp it down more frequently at that part, in my experience.

if you're using moist, fluffy nuggets than you might have a harder time with it.....

but yeah, i think they work perfectly, although they are tedious to fill.

i want to get one and fill it with good herb and hash....that would make a nice party favor :D

    Yeah it would.

Not to mention the first few hits off those cones are off the wall, the tip is pretty wide so you get alotta smoke for your puff.
