I suppose idea is the wrong word, I was talking about an understanding.

But yes, the understanding that everything is perception and reality is all in our heads, by it's very nature, takes pretty much everything else under it's domain.

That's why it's such a big deal, that it concerns the entire universe. We simply don't know what's real, we don't even know what real is.

My point about the age was not a reason for legitimacy, it was to point out that OP is a little behind the times on this one.

 

I agree except for the bold portion. We share our thoughts. Things are in large part because we are in fantastic agreement.
