Illegal Immigrants

I wish our government would apply pressure to Mexico to make their country somewhere that people wouldn't flee from. Mexico is a huge country with ample natural resources, why do their citizens have to come to the US to make a living for themselves and their families that remain in Mexico? That's the biggest issue. If Mexico worked on their corruption and their subservient view of their populus they could be a world power, without the need to export their lower class citizens to the US for employment.

 

Pressure has been applied in the past and the Mexican government sneered at it. Why? Because it's easier for them to just ignore their own problems and allow their citizens to come here, illegally.

Why do you think they are putting up such a fuss about the US wanting to put up fencing and National guard on our side of the border? If we do that, then the Mexican government would actually have to do it's job.

Lazy, arrogant, bastards. They just want to pretend that their people don't exist while they sit back and collect the luxurious bribes from drug kingpins.

 

Yet we are building a transnational highway from the southern border of Texas to Canada with a Spanish company in charge of the construction. All this is going on right now while Republican's and Democrats are talking out on imigration...but they all know that once the highway is built the corporations will have it their way and who the hell cares about anything else. Who's talking about the building of this highway right now, right before an election...no one! Except for a few Texans that got their property confiscated to ensure the development.

How many US citizens are even aware this is happening? They are feeding us tiny carrots based on the US public opinion of immigration, but they are continuring their own agenda in the background, which will negate anything the US public is targeting right now. They are probably patting each other on the back right now and buying stock in companies that will profit from this underhanded crap. And the US public at large is focused on other issues.

Time to ask about this highway and SPP on C-Span and at meetings before this election...see what your candidate has to say about it.

 

I don't want to ofend anybody, please don't, but the US goverment gets into many of the southamerican countries, into their economies, into their political affairs and that's the reason why those countries do not grow for themselves, it wouldn't be nice for a big world power country like the US to have other countries as big and powerful as them.

well, its not all the imigrants' fault. american companies are looking for workers who are willing to work for little money and benifits. they are actually advertising american jobs down in mexico, and send recruiters to mexican/american borders to hire recent imigrants. now, if you couldnt make enough money to feed your family let alone your self, whoulnt this sound appealing to you? so dont always talk down on the imigrants themselfs, its these american companies that encourage imigrant work. im sick of people always saying that they take their jobs, but honestly, what american would want to work picking orages for barely $20 a day? who's jobs are they really taking? companies are treating them like slaves. i think people should show more compassion
