Ignoring phone calls

I have a flip phone too, but never knew before it was called like that.

 

I run a lot of my business through my phone. I have to have all the bells and whistles even if I don't know how to use all of them. I run credit cards, make appointments, have my work schedule, client information, daily calendar, etc on my phone.

 

I hate answering the phone. Unless it is one of a select few people, I almost never answer. I find meaningless phone conversations painful and I always avoid them. I used to have a friend who would call just to chat. I never answered it. I felt bad, but I can't stand it!!

 

Maybe they're evaluating your service based on your phone policies. Busy companies like phone calls!!!

 

I have been wanting to skip this flip phone accross a lake and see how many skips I can get..last time I did something like that i was out a phone for a month..I hate phones, just like tv, but they are a necessary

 

I tend to try and convert a big amt of work calls to email.. or ignore.
By filtering them out before they get to me.

I know people who spend all day jabbering on the phone and it could have been reduced to two short emails. Time is money, so I won't spend it on some speculative idiots..

 

Im the same way. I HATE talking on the phone. My poor mom feels sad because I never answer.

 

I've had people call like 5 times and when I don't answer they try and call a bunch of times with a different phone number, as if I'm not paranoid enough to know this is the same person. If it's a weird area code I look it up and see where in the country it supposedly is coming from.

 

You should ALWAYS answer if your mom calls. Shame on you for ignoring her! Unless I'm busy at work I always answer when my dad calls. Usually he is calling to tell me a stupid joke then he hangs up on me. My dad is a dork but he makes me laugh.
