i suggest checking out this group called blonde redhead. the progressions in their songs are awesome, and so emotional too. there's a guy singer and a chick singer, and the singing isn't exactly the most perfect pitch you've ever heard, but that's what makes it so great.

if you're looking for individual songs, check out "pink love", "anticipation", or "a cure"... if you're looking for an album, then check out misery is a butterfly.
