wars? the invention of organized warfare itself.
person? maybe saul of tarsus, but probably someone a lot long before that, perhapse the greek general whose forces overcame minoen crete, but probably someone even before that, romulus and remus maybe, but probably someone even before that, before even there was a greece or even egypt or china. probably whoever first bullied anyone into going along with the idea of hierarchy in any form.
invention? mass production of fire arms certainly. perhapse even mass production of swords. other things like the automobile and the use of credit come to mind, and certainly one way mass media, although the tecnologies involved in the latter WERE steps in the direction of more useful ones. but i do feel they could have been arrived at by other paths. as can everything that has come out of armed conflicts and the romantacizing of aggressiveness.
