For me, it would be in both, driving an automobile and driving a semi-truck. I'm 45 now, but I haven't drove either of them, which I did have the training for, since I was in my early 20s.
completing my apprenticeship in earth moving with heavy equipment would be fun. likewise, not so much refresher, but moving on from where i am with illustration and animation. my idea about art is sharing non-verbal concepts, rather then being about money for rich people to show off they can afford to buy. too bad anything that involves doing anything complex with my mind, i only trust doing so for fun as a hobby. i really don't trust the labyrinth of business and money. geology was good. several directions of branching from that i would have liked. too many roads to go very far in one lifetime, and i wanted to travel all of them.
Learning, retaining, and using the French language. I still kick my younger self in my mind's eye constantly.. why did I not take the lessons seriously?!? It opens doors. Plus, Quebecois girls are gorgeous. So I wouldn't mind having the language in my arsenal.
Spanish and piano, for sure. I know just enough Spanish to travel, and would like to brush up on it one day. As for piano, younger me was always really terrible about trying new things, and I constantly threw fits if I made a mistake. Older me I think would appreciate playing it more, if given the chance.
I would love to be able to sit down and play the Chopin etudes opus 10 and 25 after dinner. This is one of my favourites. (opus 25, no 11) I bought the piano about 50 years ago and I always press the right keys, the only problem is that they are mostly in the wrong order.
music is another thing i dabbled in ages ago. developed a bit of an interest in some of its less conventional byways. never really did anything with it though. so many other things interesting in my life. that was all like most of 50 years ago.
Living in the UK and surrounded by countries with so many different native languages, it was impossible to choose. So I took the lazy option and concentrated on engineering, music and my studies to become a doctor. After all, all these countries have English as their second language, so if they don't understand me, I can just shout a bit louder.
