Back in the 70's I lived near a pond that had a stunning weeping willow next to it. I used to love that tree and listening to the breeze blowing through the leaves. Very restful.

Weeping willow in my grandparents' backyard in Bosnia.

Nice palm tree on the beach is a great option too. I wish it was summer already.

I care more about the surface on which I would take a nap. Most trees will do fine!

A thornless honeylocust. Big tree, lots of shade, beautiful leaves with lots of little leaflets. Where... The valley I grew up in. A farm field.

I've napped and written under many trees. I've yet to find one where bugs aren't an issue.

I love weeping willows and they're usually by the water which I also love so I guess I'll go with weeping willow. Although palm tree sounds good this time of year!

I am with you on this one! :)

One of my favourite trees is a weeping willow. They always seem to be majestic but wispy.

Actually this exact location. I set my hammock up on that dock in the shade of the big oak tree and take naps regularly.
