If you could pick an accent....

I was once told at Ogunquit by a guy that i had a ''Boston Accent '' that's weird cos the only person i know who comes from that area is my grandmother and i don't talk in english that much with her ....

Anyway, that's weird. I realized that i didn't pronounce my ''r'' enough when i read in english

 

on Kali River Rapids, some woman asked us if we were from louisiana because she could tell by our accents thats awesome cos i never realised it
i love it.

 

I have a terrible southern accent, George. It's way worse than them Virginians. I get made fun of all the time.

Not only that, I suppose yall have more of the mountain/west virginny pinched nose influence. I just have a really bad non-rhotic drawl.

 

Ahaha. We Kentuckians definitely have a weird accent. I don't know if it's pinched nose-y. I don't think it is....but I also don't think my accent is terrible until someone points it out. My ma told me I have the most Kentucky accent possible (She was born and raised in New Yawk....so she's a fast talker with a Kentucky slang since she's lived here 19 years.). I talk slow and definitely have a drawl, though. Lol.

I'd choose a soft Irish accent... as though I'd spent the last couple years in Canada to mellow it out, but still keep all the nice lilting parts of it *purr*

 

That's the one if I had to switch from Texan.

 

Pick up on the Zimbabwean influences in my accent and make them more pronounced...

I'd love to have a soft Irish accent, it's so beautiful. But I guess mine is alright.. at least it's pretty unique over here.

but
i listend to some glasgow accents(thats where hes from..i think) and they didn't sound like his..

 

The worst English accent I think is the northern one.. like how people speak in Manchester and around that area. I honestly can't understand that at all.
