Sorry I misunderstood where you were going with that comment... I totally read it backwards, so my apologies.
I live where I want, when I want. I own several businesses. Survival is kind of a take it as it comes thing. But I have tons of resources and money, if that is what you are talking about. So I just have to wait a day or so for the chocolate covered espresso beans to clear customs and then send someone to pick them up and pay the import tax. Sometimes you just have to make sacrifices.
I would live in a country I helped create, live off the only thing there is to live off--- the land, and for a living I would exist...
i'd live in a forest in new zealand. i'd write songs and go surfing and swimming. i'd hunt the animals to survive and kill anybody who intruded on my hunting grounds... unless its a very hot chick. i pick new zealand so whenever i want to go visit a city i wouldn't have to learn a new language.
I would live anywhere and everywhere, travel around with my tent and make money/food from busking. Survived last Summer doing it and will be leaving for 2 years in August again to do the exact same thing I love living in Europe
Marquesas in the south pacific. Not many people, eternal spring time so gardening is year round, beautifull tropics. A person that can fix things, build things and can work hard (and rest hard) can make it almost anywhere. Garden, gather, fish and rest.----------(Bora Bora and some other islands would work also.) p.s.--almost went-had a 40 foot catamaran ,but was subjected to sailus interruptus.
hmmm... I would move every season. I don't like being sedentary. Spring: Kentucky, nothing beats the bluegrass in the height of spring Summer: Northwest Wyoming/Montana, so beautiful. Not too hot or humid but still not too cool. Fall:I hear the northeast is nice in the fall, why not Winter: Arizona. Have to be able to ride my bike all year round
