VERY true, Asmodean. That is another reason why I would rather be living in an eternal paradise. There would be none of that going on there, thankfully.
I would miss my friends and family too much. Plus it would be fun to do like they did in what dreams may come and come back so my husband and i could find each other again ^_^ i believe him to be my soulmate afterall.
Reincarnation... as the way I should be. Unfortunately... I really have reason to doubt there is a after life. Nice dreaming, though.
rencarnation because it is the only thing there that i can comprehend. well, i guess i know what a paradise is but thats life to me.
Heaven without a doubt, to see some people that have passed away and I never got the chance to meet them.
I'm Buddhist, so my religion believes reincarnation. hmm paradise would be nice but you wouldnt really feel "alive" now would you? I pick reincarnation, then you could experience the wonderful things life has to offer all over again like trying new exciting things falling in love, first kiss, losing virginity, having a child(intentionally), getting your first car, spending time with a loved one, getting high(for me) there is nothing better than to really feel alive!! When I get reincarnated I hope I'm not reincarnated in a country with a facist authoritarian government who is hellbent on controlling every aspect of it's people's lives. *cough*America*cough* BTW I do live in America.
I'd chose heaven, of course because my religion (Christianity) believes in it. Of course I would miss people such as my family and friends if I were to be reincarnated so at least if I go heaven I could be them them, and God, for the whole of eternity.
Unless he is the queen ant! If he is the queen ant, he will need to feed his eggs with his own saliva, though.
We all are "ants" in this world... don't you? I'd rather be a bird... maybe a nightingale... or just a pet cat...
but what is the point of breaking free from living and experiencing an endless diversity of worlds and life forms? i'm affraid i've never understood the "reward" of this "reward". free from suffering and the causes of suffering yes. but are not the causes of suffering at root the robbing of one another of our calmness? how can being or not being in some other mode of existences or nonexistence chainge THAT? =^^= .../\...
For now I prefer no afterlife. Sometimes it feels ok when I think about reincarnation hopefully with better life but then I just realize that life is actually too hard for that. But in other case - I'd love to be a bird
the assumption of reincarnation equaling some other species on this same earth, when it's a huge universe out there with many worlds that have PEOPLE who just don't happen to look like earth people on them, i seriously do not see the sense of. =^^= .../\...
I wouldn't want to be reincarnated during this time. Life on earth sucks unless i'd come back as a seagul of something and then i could fly over peoples heads and poo on them.
