I ask: "Why would you want to be?" Seriously, at one time I hated who I was. Now I don't, and it was the whole I don't hate myself anymore, but I rather really umm kinda love who I am and what I'm about that makes me feel better about me. I wouldn't want to be anyone other than me. It's the difference between cheating yourself and owning who you are and rocking it like nobodies business. I don't care if you're a janitor, or a doctor, or lawyer, or preacher, occupation really doesn't make us who we are, but taking pride in ourselves and our work is about as ethical as it can be. If not then there might be a reason for that. Ya know?

i can make no sense out of what being someone else would mean.
if i walked into their life, assuming their body, the me inside, would still be me.
how could it possibly be otherwise?

i might invent a persona, and a completely other world species,
and a lot of people do this, to role play or make art or what have you.
i would certainly rather do that, then assume the life of some other human person.

there are things i'd like to have that might come with it,
not things to impress anyone, but things to make things with,
and resources to make things out of.

all the kind of things to impress someone with, i'm not being asetic, they just have no value nor appeal to me.
but things i've always had to worry about, to not ever have to worry about them, that i would like.

no matter where i go, there i am.

Assuming a spirit is as a spirit does, what would an unwelcomed spirit be?

    Unwelcome ….

    How about one welcomed?

    A welcomed one.

    Do you enjoy feeling bad?
Do you enjoy feeling happiness and joy?

Which would you welcome and which would you not?

I'd welcome the welcome one … not the unwelcome one.

Pete's not playing … He's a magic kind of dragon ya know.

I'll play along for fun as well. Kinda bored now.

I'll take the character in the movie "Holy Man" played by Eddie Murphy. Why? Because he was a nobody just some street wanderer people would throw things at yet he was far richer and freer than any movie star, singer, sports athlete, billionaire, politician who clings to their wealth and fame or their sense of self importance. His sense of compassion, and selflessness without seeking any reward or approval was admirable. All that combined with an amazing sense of humor.
