i'm with you there. i'm on lake erie, and it's usually mid june at the earliest before the beaches are actually pleasant hangout spots. of course, an occasional winter beach walk is nice too.
My husband is working from home lately. He's currently outside measuring for the car port we are having installed next week. He's an IT administrator, if he has done his job right, there is little to do but wait for phone calls from the office. And he answers them and gets on whatever task immediately. But so far he's built a ramp for our dog to get up and down the porch, takes the trash out, does little things that need to be done around the house. I, however, work in a kitchen. Early morning breakfast shifts 3 days a week and afternoon shifts two days a week. Am I jealous of my husband? Hell no. I get paid to socialize 5 days a week. I don't even comprehend quarantining.
And another thing. If you are "working from home" DO NOT go into the office at 2:30 wearing golf clothes and smelling of suntan lotion.
I go into work once a week and work from home the other 4 days. I used to work from home occasionally before this when my mental health was bad, but generally we need to be at base as we could be needed anytime. Now we have a skeleton staff on hand.
