I don't want to get married either, both of my parents are twice divorced and I was told at a tender age that it was nothing but "a bunch of paperwork."

I don't need the state to validate my love for anyone.

As one who has been married young and for a long time, and is going to be married again. I do have to say that it does have it's benefits. It's nice to come home to someone and have someone there for you when you need them. On the other hand I also understand the loss of being able to do what you want when you want. There has to be some compromise. I feel lucky that I am able to exorcise my feelings and be able to do things on my own. She is rather independant as well and likes her own time so it had been a really good match for me.

I did the friends with benifits thing after my divorce and it did not work out as well for her. She wanted our relationship to develop into something more but it was not what I wanted. She understood but I still think it hurt her feelings a lot. She was about to move away and I think she was trying to get me to commit to her in some way in order to give her an excuse not to move. I tried to keep in touch with her after she moved but then it just stopped.

I don't equate marriage with a lifelong relationship. I would marry a girl if she really wanted to and I loved her, I just don't think its necessary. I do understand the appeal of a ceremony and all that, and I would probably want to find some way to symbolize, 'I want to grow old with you.' I just think marriage as an institution is overrated, it's more about financial assets than love. No offense to you of course.

 

In a funny way I also feel the same way. However, I would be willing to bet that if I talk to you in 10 years you are going to be married. I am also a firm believer that I am the marring kind of person. Some people are not and should never be. As a catering professional and prior to this job, I was a wedding planner. I have been involved in over 300 weddings. Of those, I would have to say for the most part I felt that they were going to be fine together. There were a few that I felt would not be but that did not mean I was not going to cater their wedding.

One of my friends is getting married this weekend and we did an all day Bachlor party for him. Ended up at a strip club. I think I spent over $150.00 on lap dances for him.

Personally, I am going to Amsterdam for my Bachlor Party. I'm going to be stoned off my ass the entire time. My fiance said I can get a hand job from a naked hooker but nothing else.

 

I do like a good indica. The body buzz is nice but I find that the Couch Lock keeps me from doing much of anything else.

So, I am about to go on vacation. I might not be on here as much. I am going to South Carolina to pick my daughter. I get to have her for 5 weeks. I have not seen her scence Christmas so I am looking forward to spending some time with her. Lots of fun planed. I'm going to be going on a weed break as well. Let's see how long that lasts.

yeah it sucks...the 3 class times they offer are morning: 8-12, afternoon: 1230-430, night: 6-10

in the summer quarter they are 730-12, 1230-5, and 530-10...sucks
