I have nothing in my car. my trunk is completely empty .. other than a pair of sunglasses in there and the book for the car, legal stuff. nothing else.

 

I have lots of change. Today i picked it all up.

my other bigger truck there is tools ,saw blades,knives,cables,towels,bars,winch remotes,various chains and slings,rubber bungees,pens pencils,various weigh scale receipts,assorted small car parts...a spare alternator just in case,hitch bars and tons of other stuff im forgetting....and thats just the space between the bucket seats ..

 

i was all set to say there's nothing in there, but then as i thought about it the list of things just kept growing. the glove compartment has vehicle manuals, insurance/registration, tire gauge, a small bag of change, and some random papers that i can probably get rid of once i look at what they actually are. the center console has a few containers, including a cup holder with some more change in it, and a couple other miscellaneous storage spaces that hold my sunglasses, several pens, a slinky, and probably some other junk. my passenger side floor is where i usually keep my ice scraper, and at the moment a screwdriver and an empty mcdonalds bag. the middle armrest opens up to store my winter hat and gloves, a few fast food gift cards, safety glasses, and a phone charger. behind the seats is a sleeping bag, tent, pillow, my CDs, a couple emergency roadside kits, and a volleyball. and i think the truck bed is actually clean right now, although it did contain a glowstick, an empty antifreeze bottle, and an ear of corn for the entire winter.

i'm probably forgetting some stuff too.

if i get robbed, i know who to come after.

 

A bumper sticker from the tattoo shop I go to. Lip gloss. Some receipts. Maybe a few old cd cases with the wrong cds in them. 2 ice scrapers because fuck the midwest. I think thats it. I just cleaned it out not that long ago.

 

Today it has 3 child safety seats in it.

Under one seat is the spare dog leash, dog treats, and a ball...sometimes I run into dogs that need to be captured.

The usual stuff in the glove box.

A small umbrella, hand lotion, phone charger, small tools, a pink plastic frog, some pieces of quartz the kids bring me, a crumbling flower from one of the kids, hubby's sunglasses, a piece of pyrite for protection, a little angel pin that I trying to remember to epoxy to my mothers gravemarker, and a crow feather.

 

if we went in your car, we'd find a car? your car must be massive.

My car is always pretty neat.

All you'd find in the dash is bottle caps from beer.
Maybe a blanket in the back seat for the dog when he comes.
In the rear, spare tyre and the jack etc.

Maybe some gumboots. :d
