My fridge is under the induction cooking plate (sp?). I still have to get new pots and pans for this new thing (came with the new place)

What possible motivation would I have to make you look bad, just because you hang your wet clothes out on a line which doesn’t eliminate static cling, which doesn’t reduce drying time, which doesn’t eliminate wrinkles,
which doesn’t allow you to add bounce dryer sheets, or allow you to add hydrophilic fabric softeners like you would if you used a dryer [IMG]

Back when induction was first introduced, Bosch carried out tests to produce a list of recommended pans.
The results were quite surprising. Some top manufacturers had not fully grasped the technology and fitted grids not fully embedded in the aluminum heat distributor base, or fitted one grid in all sizes of pan. causing a hot-spot on the larger pans.
Perhaps the most surprising of all was the standard (not rated for induction) pan tested from Asda (Walmart in the US) that was about 10% of the cost of the others. It was made from grade 600 stainless (the cheapest grade) which still has magnetic properties. It out-performed everything, since the entire pan heated, but the handle was made from the same material, OUCH. !!!!!
It was not included in the listing, because the magnetic properties of '600' vary wildly from batch to batch.
PS. 600 is a cheap grade primarily intended for street furniture and lamp posts.
