meaning that i am taking CHristian propogandists views on atheism. But i have more of an open mind than to only go by what THEY say, i have seen a few different interpretations about what atheism is. I am not a separitist CHristian that secludes herself from the world to avoid evil, becoming completely irrelevant to the people around me. Christian or not, i have my own opinions, and they dont always stem from Christianity.

it's not about being tolerant. Following Christ does not mean we all get super-tolerant. GOd is not looking for the Flanders. I'd say you'd have to argue with God about that verse, but you believe He's not there. So you'll either have to keep it inside or put Christians down for believing such an "intolerant" perspective.

I DIS-believe such an entity exists until there is evidence of such.

I am going to interpret your behaviour now for a minute, ok, so please dont get your back out and start throwing your quills at me for making a "personal attack".....I think you DO BELIEVE in GOd, and are pretending to be looking for tangible evidence of GOd because you know it's NOT there, (because you used to have a heart aside from the one you so often talk about which pumps blood, and you LOVED God with that Heart, and believed with that Heart, but the waves got too high)...and use that against Christianity to cover your own ass so you dont have to admit there's a GOd, therefore freeing yourself from having to deal with yourself and your weaknesses and need for forgiveness. You couldnt beat the mockers before, so you joined them instead. You looked for your only escape. And you RAN.

people liek you will never get the evidence you are looking for. Seems like the only way GOd could reach you is to blind you, make you deaf, take your tongue, your nose, and make your body numb.

then, possibly, you would finally have an open heart and have no choice but to use it.

If I went blind, deaf, dumb and numb for 24 hours and then back to perfect normality, and I see writing in mid-air that wrote, "This was your evidence. - God". That might constitute as a reason to consider the existence of "God".

 

i dont think i am being pompous. As soon as a Christian really speaks thier mind, or sincerely speaks from thier heart, we are SHOT DOWN, kicked, mocked, and told we are being pompous. How are we supposed to discuss anything if no one will give us the slightest bit of respect? I am not acting superior.
