Saying 'I will have more flexibility after the election' is simply TRUE. There is nothing in that comment that suggests Obama was working with the Russians to influence the outcome of the election.

Speak for yourself. It all depends, of course, on what the evidence for the impeachment is. Thus far, we have the on-going special prosecutor investigation, the investigation by the US Attorney's office in the SDNY, the Stormy Daniels litigation, and now the Democratic National Committee's lawsuit, all with discovery processes that are likely to uncover lots of facts we don't know about. Trump may be innocent, but he doesn't act like it. So we'll see. Mebbe so, mebbe not. This is how Watergate proceeded, from denial to Nixon's resignation.
