Trump isn't going anywhere until the end of his term. A re-election definitely won't happen.

Yeah, one who wasn't removed from office.

It would take 2/3 of the Senate to convict him. That ain't gonna happen, even if Democrats regain control. An impeachment sure would be fun, though. :)

The collusion with Russia is real. There is already a mountain of evidence to support that. He's guilty on a zillion emoluments clause charges. He violated campaign finance reform law in setting up a shell company to pay a porn star with campaign funds and there are a couple dozen sexual assault accusers, plus the intimidation charge brought by Stormy Daniels. This leaves out the abject incompetence. There's more than enough for a successful impeachment but it won't happen until Trump is a liability for the other repubs. Once he jeopardizes their re-elections they'll turn on him because all of them only care about themselves

I am beginning to think that there wasn't collusion, but if you want to talk obstruction of justice. . . . . .

I think if the dems gain control of congress, two things might happen.
    1) trump realizes that he won't get anything passed, so he quits.
    or
    2) trump realizes that he has to start agreeing with the dems. This of course will upset his base, and cost him the 2020 election.
Either way, it's a good scenario.
Note: I don't see anyway that pence would ever be elected as president.

Can a president just resign from Presidency? haha I hadn't thought of that happening with Trump. Not sure his ego would allow it.

I'll be honest, I'm not sure it'll even happen then.

I just realized what impeachment actually means, it's a charge of misconduct, and then a trial would have to ensue. Then, I could totally see Trump being impeached, but whether or not that causes him to resign, we'll have to wait and see. I guess I've been under the impression that merely being impeached means he would automatically have to leave office.

I think Trump's economic policies will be his undoing. The trade war with China is heating up. The stock market is wavering. I can remember giddy Trumpies ballyhooing the advance of the Dow to 26000. Well, it's 2358 today and falling on the trade war news. A China boycott of our agricultural products could hurt the farmers in those red states Trump calls his base. More of those than out of work steel and aluminum workers Trump purports to be helping. We'll all pay a price for this, but it may set the stage for people to be less reluctant to see him go.

I’m not sure either but never is a long time. We’ll know soon enough. Clearly based on elections since 2016 Trumo has hurt several candidates

Nixon resigned when facing impeachment, maybe Trump would do the same. Then we'll go to work on Pence.

Unless Pence is caught up in this. He’d be neutered at that point anyway. His boss would have been fired either by his own party or his party would be out of power for his remaining two years

Impeachment is a political process, not a legal one.

Trump has committed high crimes and misdemeanors. Whether he faces the music for that depends on what happens in November.

I'd predict there'll be a blue wave in the house, and maybe dem's up by one in the Senate. That means if it were to follow the political process, impeachment hearings, some penalty, but no removal from office. I don't think it's possible for dems to do well enough in the senate to get to a point where they could impeach him.

Of course there's no telling if what Muller finds is just going to be really damaging to the presidency, or catastrophic.

But I think the media's become so divisive that even if concrete evidence of Trump and Putin actively collaborating on film came out, Trump TV would still defend him. If such a partisan narrative existed in the 70's, Nixon would have held on.

We're probably in this 'til 2020 folks. By then we'll have hit the next recession, and pretty much everyone but the white supremacists will have soured on him. I do worry on the implications for the institution of the presidency long term.

Stop watching Fox and Friends. You're brainwashing yourself... who cares what Charles Barkley thinks about politics?

He's a black celebrity. So two reasons for him to be a point against liberal media. We are not racist we got a black man with money to say YOU are the racist.
