    Yeah, wouldn't the Denver Police have to follow the city law, leaving state law to the staties?

    Awsome to hear that they passed it. Even if it doesn't stop people from being prosecuted, its a good sign in that there's obviously a growing number of people who realize that pot isn't that bad. If it keeps up like this in a few years state laws might be changing. Unless the DEA starts a whole new anti-pot reefer madness campaign and people are dumb enough to believe it... you know the feds will fight against this poopular opinion tooth and nail to keep pot illegal. If pot was nationaly decriminalized, would that mean all the people arrested for possession would be let out of jail?

    ok quick question.... what the hell does this bill mean they passed it legalizing pot but you can still be prosectued?? well whats the point of it other than "symbolization". also, does this bill for whatever it means apply to only adults of 18^ or 21^? or to any one any age??

    I don't really care about legalizing/decrimnalizing pot, so for pot smokers yes it is a step in the right direction.

    However,State law supercedes city law, therefore pot is not "legal" in Denver. The courts are run by the state, the prosecutors are paid by the state. You will be tried under state law.
