If someone says they miss you...

But you don't/didn't miss them...what do you usually say?

Do you fib and say that you've missed them, too?

How do you tactfully tell someone that you haven't missed them?

 

I say I missed them but my aim is improving.

 

I change the subject.

 

is this an ex or something?

than, it is easy..

"well I haven't missed you"

 

I say "awwww thank you".... and hug them

 

Well, yes, an ex...but one that I've sort of been seeing again.

When he says he misses me, I always say "you're so sweet", but what gets me is when he asks if I miss him too...then I don't know what to say.

 

this just happened recently to me..
i just said "haha awww.." then changed the subject quickly.

"I miss you too"... but you can tell by my tone of voice that I'm lying. People that know me well can recognize it.

 

who says I miss you ? That is lame, its like invading someone's emotional boundries... ugh

 

tell him obviously you missed him , or else he would have a bullet in him .

thats cause my work is refinishing furniature .....i detail furniature ....i dont spell things for a living , thankfully .

I would say something like .."yeah its been a while huh?" and then move the conversation along!

 

i would just hire a hit man , so this wont happen in the future ......if someone is dead , you realy could miss them without the untidy mess of them returning to talk bout missing .....
