If people feared coronavirus the way they do athletes foot the pandemic would be over in week

    Sad but true.

    Before this happened there was more social pressure to wear shoes in a store then today during the height of a pandemic to wear a facemask.

    Foot fungus needs warm sweaty socks to survive . A virus needs love , too .

    you guys are so good at finding the only places that enforce anti-barefoot policies.

    when businesses do have anti-barefoot rules, i don't think it has anything to do with athlete's foot; i think it's more about a fear of liability if you step on broken glass or that sort of thing.

    Conservatives in the 60s made up the rule to keep hippies out of their establishments.

    50 years later people still believe the myth about health codes and insurance rules against going barefoot they perpetuated.

    If I was operating a retail store right now I would but up a sign no bare faces, wear your mask.

    You are not coming in here and talking and when doing so little spit drops landing in my place.

    I wear my mask and shoes in stores now, things are just too tense right now to make waves.
