If Marijuana is a hallucinogen, then why dont we hallucinate when we get high?

I'm not quite sure. If memory serves me right; I had it with two different strains from the same guy, but that was a while back, man. Lower tolerance back then for me too. =P

 

Think of it as psychedelic instead of hallucinogenic. I have had great psychedelic type effects with kief packed into a bowl of headies. The first time I ever got high it felt like a trip in a way...and there were definitely visual effects. I have a few friends who say they had hallucinations with large amounts of weed but personally I seem to trip out more than hallucinate when uber high.

..Hallucinogenic too though obviously because a big enough dose of THC would make you hallucinate.

Tolerance is why we don't hallucinate while we're high. I took a lil break from weed a few days ago, and when I smoked after 2 days I saw flashing red lights and my toilet looked like an ancient statue. not full blown but take a few days break itll make a big difference.

 

I've only had thoughs effects around the first 5-10 times I got high and I havn't had them since, so I believe it's a tolerance thing.

 

You're probably right. The last time it happened to me was after I hadn't smoked in awhile. Man, that sucks.

 

you dont hallucinate easily off smoking marijuana because its not potent enough, eat some nice strong hash and you'll go into a different world
