well as far as i know there is no one place on this earth that meets all of my requirements (which i've mentions several times and places elsewhere). nevada city, california, nothern rural japan, southern rural new zealand, a nepal that could be (but NOT the city of katmandu or its immediate surrounds), prince rupert b.c. canada, anniktuvic alaska, some parts of scandanhoovia, neitherlans and switzerland maybe, some parts of nevada, though not lost wages, and probably not too close to reno or tonopah either. some parts of oregon and washington states as well. any place that doesn't reguard not kissing the ass of little green pieces of paper as being the big bad boogie man, without being over the top procustian about it either. preferably one with lots of evironmentaly harmonious infrastructure, meaning among other things not worshiping the damd automobile. mountians, forrests, diminuative form factor trains, cultural values where people are more interested in making things then tearing things up. more interested in the kind of world we all have to live in then in trying to impress each other personaly. there are a lot of places and no places. a lot of places i'd rather be then where i am and many of the places i've been. and no place that i know of that is completely my ideal perfect place. unless it, the people there, would let me make some part of it that ideal perfect place. i think there are places and people who would like how i would have a place be if i could. i think there may be places where the people there would like that. i think that's really the main thing about where i'd want to be. trees, trains, computers and not kissing the ass of little green pieces of paper, those are the main things about the kinds of places i'd rather be. and a cooler rather then warmer climate mostly. closer to the poles then the equator. with the kind of underground architecture that occasionaly broke out and became mainstream in the late 60s and early 70s. places where people don't buy into vested assumptions about human nature but instead create ways to avoid screwing everything up for each other. =^^= .../\...
I'd like to go to Ireland, Iceland or San Francisco and I'd like to have a beautiful house in the middle of a huge natural garden. Maybe it would be also nice to go to an island somewhere in the indian ocean and to live there for some years without caring about the rest of the world.
I would love to move to either Nice, France or Sedona, Arizona. Both my most favourite places that I've ever visited.
Portland is great. The people are so much more open minded than in the South, and the only thing I miss about Florida is the warm water and beaches. Here the ocean temp is 60 degrees at best. Brrr! If I could, I would have a summer house in Vancouver, BC, and a winter house in either Bora Bora or New Zealand.
If after I visit I like the people's vibes and it's vibrant (can't go anything you hear) then Paris France would be my choice of city.
