Years ago there was a catholic high school around here in which the woman in charge of the clinic/sex ed. department was poking holes in the ends of condoms with a pin! She said that, "They (the sperm) should at least have a chance." Then you get all sorts of pregnant 16 year olds who are condemned by their schools and churches because they're pregnant, young, and not married. As you said though, most religion today is man made and constructed by the leader's own points of view, which can sometimes be not loving or good. People should at least understand that there is separation there before they go saying things like, "Jesus lied," or "I hate god." God is inherited and personal, not an external movement.
Ha, that's terrible. It's things like this about religion that I hate. I could never get on board with all that.
If I was God i'd give everyone their presence early, in their best to see clearly who gave them, and then sort of cruise through the mayhem lol
Gods shots not, for in all aim deceit will meet no fate in blame. But a magic potion, there's the notion, for any who reach their inland ocean.
Of course luck plays an important role in religion. No god is to be 100% trusted. Have no confidence in the gods people. Speak to them to ensure self confidence, but never trust them. Even Jesus couldn't care less about the death of others as long as he can be resurrected. And that's the honest greed of our higher beings.
As stated this question is impossible to answer, because right is not a reliable metric. The more fundamental and relevant question is what are we. What are the needs of human being. The answer for that question then becomes the basis for how we can live the "right" way.
there would be a helluva lot more pyramids, none of that leaving the job half finished like last time https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yQ3Hk7AZFT0"]YouTube- Do Not Watch This Video
Again, you must separate gods from their followers. You're saying, "have no confidence in god's people," after saying that no god can be 100% trusted. People are people, religious or not, you can't fight human nature. That doesn't say anything about god(s). If Jesus didn't care about the death of others he wouldn't have died for them in the first place. He would've lived his life, then died, knowing he was the only one able to get to heaven as he is the son of god. He wouldn't have even come to earth in the first place. He would have remained god, living for all eternity. Thus no need to be resurrected at all. People would remain full of sin, then die and go to hell. Jesus died so that they didn't have to. It's pretty cut and dry if you know what you're talking about. I don't necessarily believe this, but I do know the history of it.
At least the Catholic schools around here, people may think they'd be ostracized for having a child, but the reality is that (especially Catholics) should welcome people who when they do make mistakes--end up making the right decision (to deliver the baby). I spoke with the principal of a Catholic high school here who had examples of girls who dropped out because they thought they'd get kicked out for having a baby--that is just the impression of the students.
I'm glad that this is the case in some school, or at least the one near you, but shouldn't the teachers actually be telling the kids this?! If they are dropping out of school over fear of being kicked out, looked down on or whatever, then clearly the schools aren't doing enough to show this forgiveness, but are doing a good job of telling them what they should not be doing. It shows where the emphasis is being placed.
I would write a song.. just like this.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=73sKNUa4M-E"]YouTube- Van Halen - Running with the Devil - Eruption - (In Stereo. Use &fmt=18 at end of URL)
why especially catholics? they've never demonstrated compassion in this feild before Given the catholic churches absolutely appaling record of it's telling young parishiners NOT to use contraception... in a time when many STDs will literally kill ya .... they have every right to be terrified and expect to be kicked out.... you can't expect people to look for compassion and forgiveness when the leader of their church could literally stop thousands from dying simply by making a public statement and allowing their priests to educate the ignorant unless a single mother "confesses her sins" then they can't even recieve communion... unless they are a widow, haven't remarried and have remained single and celebate guilt and sin, and measured compassion and kindness.... your church has been using those to keep people ignorant and servile for a millenia... even now, when ignorance on matters regarding sex can literally be life threatening fuck the catholic church, it's members have every right to be afraid.... it's how it survives
They don't have the right to develop compassion? No one should have to live in fear of condemnation Its members deserve to suffer because they've loyaly followed their leaders? Did German's in the 1940's deserve to die becauise they followed blindly out of fear? Its members don't 'deserve' to be afraid, they've simply been taught extreme ways that may not necessarily be right. They may not know any better.
We share thoughts. There is one mind or common mind or common being, that is why we are able to communicate. The I am I call myself is the same I am you call yourself. Compassion means to "suffer with". There is no shortage of compassion in this world. No ones suffering is special, however there is the mistaken idea that we suffer alone.
