If Customs Seized My Weed

Ok, so let's "hypothetically" say that I was reeeally high one night and found a place to order weed at an amazing price and not thinking went through with it... And now have a package of weed on its way to my mailbox. Lets say like 3grams.

What happens if customs seizes it? Does the DEA come busting down my door to arrest me on suspicion of trafficking? Do they just take it and send me a lovely (or scary) letter? If someone does knock on my door can I just deny the package and say didn't order shit?

Any advice or experience in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

 

You will get what is known as a "love letter" saying you need to come claim this illegal good and prove you can own it. Obviously do not do this. If you ignore it there will be no proof you intended to order weed or had knowladge of it being sent to you. People write down the wrong address all the time right?

But the address you used is now in a database and any mail you get will be checked. 3 grams is not trafficking and not worth their time. You might get a "post man" who is a cop coming to your door asking you to sign for the mail. Or maybe it's a real post man the cops are waiting a few houses down. Do not do this either say you are not expecting any mail and refuse delivery (you can). The signature is you admitting you knew this sort of mail is coming.

But in my opinion for 3 grams if you don't fall into their lap and admit it they have bigger things to worry about. If there was evidence of you getting lots of drug mail a search warrant is possible.

Sure. Don't sign for it. Then order some more and have it forwarded to my address, which I will PM to you. If nothing happens to me, then I'll mail it to you. But you should probably order more than three grams--a lot more.

this kind of risk for 3 grams? what did you save, $8?

for that amount, i really don't think you have much to worry about. i forget where you live, but i think in most places 3 grams is maybe one step above a speeding ticket. sure, there's the border crossing thing, and i really don't know how that works legally, but it seems to me that you didn't cross the border with any contraband, so that shouldn't be much of a concern either.

keep in mind that the authorities can pretty easily see what you're doing online, so in the future you might want to avoid ordering online, as well as posting about it online.

finally, you should come back and post here when you're not in mid crisis. you were always a good contributor back when you were a regular.

 

Lol, thanks. I remember you too! I needed to take a hiatus from all the hostility. It just seemed like the forum had changed and wasn't like it used to be back in the good ol' days lol. I'm sure I'll be back posting more regularly at some point but for now I still prefer to stay more in the shadows.

Who buys 3 grams anyway? 3.5 or more maybe half 1/8 but not 3.

And for all the trouble and risk of mail order weed does not seem worth it for so little.
