    You're right, he's not racist. He's elitist.

"Live a good life? Help old ladies cross the street? Give to the needy? Love your neighbor and your enemy? NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME!" says God. "You have to have the right beliefs too. World peace isn't my issue, just that you believe this one thing. If you don't, well, despite you being such a shining human being, you're going to burn forever."

Why must there be only one road home? Why is only one path the one true path? Would God-the-all-merciful leave so many of his creations out in the cold, walking the wrong paths, paths that lead to fire and ice? Is god really an elitist, who would send most of the world's population (we're talking billions of souls here) to hell just because they have the wrong ideology? If so, that makes God no better than the KKK or a Jew-burning nazi. These types of people kill others because they don't share the same ideas. That is ignorance and hateful action, but if god operates like you say, god is ignorant and hateful.

The problem I see with god and jesus and the whole christian view on things is that it's VERY limited... everything that happens all happens in a very small part of the world..

If jesus was the son of god, why didn't he visit china, russia, the UK, the US? If he was the son of god, surely he would have the power to, say, teleport around the world spreading his message of love and tollerance..

    But no, he didn't...

God sounds very much like a racist to me... and that's no god I want anything to do with.

While walking down the street one day a female head of state is tragically hit by a truck and dies. Her soul arrives in heaven and is met by St. Peter at the entrance. "Welcome to Heaven," says St. Peter. "Before you settle in, it seems there is a problem. We seldom see a high official around these parts, you see, so we're not sure what to do with you." "No problem, just let me in," says the lady. "Well, I'd like to but I have orders from higher up. What we'll do is have you spend one day in Hell and one in Heaven. Then you can choose where to spend eternity." "Really, I've made up my mind. I want to be in Heaven," says the head of state. "I'm sorry but we have our rules." And with that, St. Peter escorts her to the elevator and she goes down, down, down to Hell. The doors open and see finds herself in the middle of a green golf course. In the distance is a club and standing in front of it are all her friends and other politicians who had worked with her, everyone is very happy and in evening dress. They run to greet her, hug her, and reminisce about the good times they had while getting rich at expense of the people. They play a friendly game of golf and then dine on lobster and caviar. Also present is the Devil, who really is a very friendly guy who has a good time dancing and telling jokes. They are having such a good time that, before she realizes it, it is time to go. Everyone gives her a big hug and waves while the elevator rises. The elevator goes up, up, up and the door reopens on Heaven where St. Peter is waiting for her. "Now it's time to visit Heaven." So 24 hours pass with the head of state joining a group of contented souls moving from cloud to cloud, playing the harp and singing. They have a good time and, before she realizes it, the 24 hours have gone by and St. Peter returns. "Well then, you've spent a day in Hell and another in Heaven. Now choose your eternity." She reflects for a minute, then the head of state answers: "Well, I would never have said it, I mean Heaven has been delightful, but I think I would be better off in Hell." So Saint Peter escorts her to the elevator and she goes down, down, down to Hell. Now the doors of the elevator open and she is in the middle of a barren land covered with waste and garbage. She sees all her friends, dressed in rags, picking up the trash and putting it in black bags. The Devil comes over to her and lays his arm on her neck. "I don't understand," stammers the head of state. Yesterday I was here and there was a golf course and club and we ate lobster and caviar and danced and had a great time. Now all there is a wasteland full of garbage and my friends look miserable." The Devil looks at her, smiles and says, "Yesterday we were campaigning. Today you voted for us!"

    Can I bring this back....

I think in the bible it dose say that during or after the second comming I think that is says that for 1000 years every one will be reserected and by their actions in that 1000 years(Because then they will know about Jesus) and then be juged. So yeah there is hope for all moral people.I...think...

I think what the Bible is saying here is that if you don't have faith, you get reborn on earth until you do get it. You see, we're already in purgatory. Christianity and Buddhism are very similar religions, except that christians forgot how to question their own faith, leading to all sorts of assuptions and literal interpretations etc. Read into the Bible from a different persepctive and you can see its really supposed to be a mysitical book.

Alright, I'm not christian but there are some problems here.

1: God and Jesus are not limited, stop learning what they taught you, and read the bible for yourself

2: Christians ARE very limited and used very limited vocabulary to describe the "ecstatic state" This is the same state in all religions, and leads one to the same conclusions about how to live a moral life.

2.5: Jesus was just an enlightened man, he traveled as far as he could walk.
Buddha was just an enlightned man, he traveled as far as he could walk.
Actually, they are almost the same, just 500 years apart, Who knows maybe they are the same, maybe the same master still wanders the earth today teaching people.

    ----Further Insights------
3: Gods Judgement == Karma (The laws of cause and effect, his judgment is always happening)

    4: Purgatory == Samasara == Life

5: Even Buddhists have Hell beings.
