    bunker was a fictional character; but even he could recognize something when it was right in front of him.
    trump is a symptom of an illness humanity is suffering.
    a time will come, possibly soon, when more then the names will change.
    we are not so separate and apart a thing, our human species.
    our egos, individually or together, are not a bigger thing then the rest of the universe.

    (and i love that sign on that building. portland was a good place when i lived there and i'm guessing it probably still is)

    I used to watch Archie Bunker in the ol' daze.

    He reminded me a lot of my stepdad.

    Since I lived in NYC, I could relate to everything on that show.

    Archie is nothing like Trump, but if he had his money, maybe he would be the same blowhard.

    What would be justice is Trump having to live like Archie (with a wife like Edith the dingbat!)

    Archie Bunker was not well educated, and was a product of a less progressive time and culture. That halfway gives him an excuse for some of his bullshit. Donald Trump has no excuse whatsoever for being an ignorant asshole.
