I have read many accounts and views on this and it seems the family and the media along with the representative of the family are .. trying to blame somebody for his death.. Tragic as it is.. they are getting a little carried away.

A few things too remember as this get more complicated..

This is the standard of discrepancies .. mostly 'eye witness' not actually from the police or Mr Blair.

Scotland Yard says it briefed relatives of Jean Charles de Menezes on 24 July - two days after he was shot.

It says his cousins were told that, contrary to reports, he did not run into Stockwell Tube station, that he used a ticket to get through the barrier and was not wearing a padded jacket or carrying a bag.

Four cousins of Jean Charles de Menezes demand an end to the police "shoot-to-kill" policy.

One of them says she has been told by officers that her relative was wearing a denim jacket at the time of the shooting and had used his travel card to get through the station.

Two senior Brazilian officials have visited Scotland Yard to discuss the investigation into the shooting of Jean Charles de Menezes. The 27-year-old Brazilian was killed by police at Stockwell Tube station on 22 July after officers wrongly linked him to the attempted bombings a day before.

Brazilian officials have said they do not believe there was a Scotland Yard cover-up over the shooting of Jean Charles de Menezes. But ambassador Manoel Gomes Pereira said he had been "perplexed" by leaks from the inquiry that contradicted early police and eyewitness reports. He "completely" trusted the Independent Police Complaints Commission, he added.
