globalisation broke all farms i think we need a world wide protest no feeding the cities and no paying the morgage and bring everybody back to reality. Gandy got the british out of india we can get the banks out of our farms
check it out at www.theaircar.com theyll be hitting the streets soon and its the answer Biodeisil for the trucks air for the comuters and trains of course and that grand old invention the bike.
so i posted earlier about giving up my car. its all been going fine , im actually getting to work earlier now that i ride the bus (and we have bike racks on transit here which rocks), but something really shitty just happened to me. MY BIKE GOT RIPPED OFF! this is such a burn! i LOVED my bike. if i see that asshole riding around (and this town isnt that big) i am going to push him into traffic. actually no i wont do that - but he'll be effing sorry.
i guess no ones reading this thread anymore but... i got my bike back! the guy tried to pawn it today at a store two blocks from my house, and i just happened to be walking by at the time! so yoink - bikes mine again asshole!
effing right he did - it was hilarious! he parked it in front of the store and went in - so i jogged up to the front door to check him out... but he had about 20 pounds on me and i had nothing to crack him with.. so he turns around at the back of the store and looks at me , i give him a big smile a big wave and a big finger, then got on the bike and rode off.. FUCK YOU! it may not have even been him - he couldve just bought it or something, but i dont really care, and i was in no mood to talk at the time..
What about us folk that like to race? I pay approxmiately 7.00 a gallon for race fuel, and I'll easily burn 30 Gallons of it in a day of racing. Cam 2 baby, its where the shit is (115 octane)
gas prices suck, it back down to about $1.70 a gallon here, but then i remember barely 2 years ago when i was pissed it got to $1.25 a gallon... sucks. at least my car gets halfway decent mileage... 35 - 40 mpg, but still i want cheap gas damnit! like under $1 a gallon :$
why make a diesel into veggie oil car? diesel is still alot cheaper than gas -$1.35 a gallon last i saw, not to mention more efficient and cleaner...
actually dude, diesel pumps alot more particulate matter into the air than gasoline. as far aswhy convert? once you establish a relationship with an oil supplier (a restaraunt say), you can drive for free. they have to pay to have their waste oil shipped out anyway, so why not let you take it? You need a filtering setup - i picture a couple of 55 gal drums on a trailer, and a 12v pump that you pull up into the alley with. the argument about pollution levels is covered on the www.greasecar.com website. just check it out, they explain it all much better than i can. doggoD , sorry about the hijacked thread.
I read in the newspaper today that oil companies are using rising oil costs to bunk up their profits. I guess thatt he customer gets screwed, and with our reliance on oil, it's not an easily boycottable industry. Although I do decide to walk a little more than I already do. i remember that every journey I walk, that's less money for oil companies!
Gas is definitly not going down anytime soon. Elections coming up in Iraq, god knows there will be more violence there. and with Arafat dead now, more unease in the mid-east. Even though most people don't wanna believe it, OPEC is near full capacity on what they can get out right now. China is sucking up more and more oil, Nigerian oil workers keep going on strike. Oil and gas are not going down anytime soon at all.
