(((((((Hugs, mama!))))))) You'll be okay. I wish I had more experiece and real advice like everyone else here does, but all I can tell you is you're doig great!!! Just try to stay calm and relax as much as you can (I know it's impossible!), breathe deep, talk to your midwife, and take her advice. If you end up in the hospital can you at least bring your midwife with you to be your advocate? Just remember whatever happens it will turn out for the better in the end - you'll have your beautiful daughter latched on to your breast before you know it! All the worldwide positive energy heading your way has to count for something! Lovin you mama...
(((((((((big huge hugs!!!))))))))) I am so sorry it's taking so long sweetie, but she will be worth the wait. My second pregnancy went anything but as we planned either, but my little girl is all the sweeter for the 4 weeks of labor. love, mom
I'm so sorry this is happening. Unfortunately, labor and delivery is one thing that we cannot predict or control. Remember that what is most important is that your baby is brought into the world safe and healthy, even if that means a hospital. And once you hold her in your arms, it will all be worth it. (((((((((HUGS)))))))))))) When I was with my friend during labor, her labor progressed very quickly when she got in the shower and put water directly on her breasts. I think she ended up going from 7cm to ready to push in less than an hour because the stimulation the water provided. Maybe worth a try. Lots of luck to you, honey!!
Awww, Holly. I was right though, she's waiting for my birthday! I hope you get to meet baby Maire very soon...(hugs)
Awwww hun - well if you dont have her at the birthing centre it wont matter at least she will be here and be safe. xxx good luck and labour vibes coming your way
wow, i missed this thread! I hope she comes today! And I hope that everything goes as well as possible for you! I kept thinking about you guys all weekend....thought that I was going to come back and see a baby! come ooooooooooooooonnnnnnnn marie!!!!!
You got to tell us when you make a new thread. I've been so busy, I've been just signing in, looking at the old thread and signing off. But, how's it going Holly? Any closer?
Well here's hoping your little baby girl decides to make her entrance into this world tonight! Either way, good luck and hugs. You're almost there! Much love...
You haven't posted since this morning so hopefully that means you and your baby are safe and recovering from the long, hard past couple days. Love and hugs!
Ok! Have talked to Brian and here's all the details. Her Name is Moire (with an o) Alison Reilly. She was born at 11:05 Pacific time last night. She was a healthy 7 lbs, 3 oz. She has lots of dark, starting to curl hair (I wonder where she got that! hahahhaha). Holly is doing great, she had to be transfered from the birthing center to Swedish hospital, and they induced labor because she was in labor soooo long - 40 hours! They were starting to contemplate a C-section, thank the goddesses! that was not necessary. When she came, she fairly shot out of there they say! They are taking alot of pictures and anticipate Holly going home later today or early tomorrow. I'm going to see them tomorrow after work, so I will give you a first hand account of Moire's beauty!
oh thanks tarabelle!! CONGRATULATIONS HOLLY AND BRIAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ps: how do you pronounce moire? loopie
