I wish to be with someone now

Last night I had a dream that I was laying on this guy's chest and he had his arms around me. We were just laying there like that and it was the best feeling in the world. Then when I woke up I realized how hungry I was for some innocent intimacy like that.

I've been single for over two years now and I've seen two people in that span of two years. We didn't really date, we just saw each other, it just never went anywhere. I've used dating apps in the past but I want to meet someone in the real world. I feel like I either meet creeps or people who just want to hookup on dating apps and I don't want either.

Does anyone else get those cravings though? Just to lay there with someone and just hold each other? It's a really bad craving.

 

I don't. Relationships are too much hassle. I'd much rather just sleep alone than deal with someone who wants me to put forth all kinds of effort.

I had a good dream last night or the night before; I forget. But I don't really crave intimacy. I mean that.

Sometimes I want to get my groove on, but that's it. Beyond that, I think it's desperation and I am very opposed to that. If there's one thing I'm not, it's desperate.

i have dreams like that kind of a lot actually. i almost never have sex dreams, but i have cuddle dreams all the damn time.

 

I just have sex dreams, cuddling when he isnt going to take his pants off is just teasing

 

i feel like this information would be good at getting sex.

Once you have found the right person you tend to do a lot more holding of each other and it is a nice feeling. Perhaps more of that than the sex side of things .

Dependant on where you are there are plenty of singles out there . Its just a case of trying to find that very one person . Sometimes this person may turn up in the most unexpected circumstances .

If she is in the right social circles I couldn't see her having a problem if looks are to go by and if that is her in the Avi picture .I just hope she plays it cool and waits for the right person for her .

 

This is the most sensible comment that I have seen in ages.
When you meet someone in the correct circumstances, things tend to go more slowly and lasting feelings build.
Although people rarely admit it openly or on the internet, sex without commitment leaves a lot of people feeling used and degraded, making it harder for a relationship to build..

 

She is a new member and has no real friends on this site that she feels connected too in a serious way.
When I first joined HF, I often went for weeks without logging on.
Perhaps she is just on holiday, or busy at work. Only time will tell.
