i'm assuming that since i live in a really small town it's harder, and i'd probably have an easier time in a bigger, more accepting city. i really am not bothered by being a loner at all though, that's the thing, i just don't like the way the other kids think. how could being mature and confident be a bad thing? i just kind of think it's so strange, and so sad, that the standard for a high school student to be accepted is to have a low self worth and feel like you have to fit in in order to succeed.
