yes, children do need both parents. I see my dad every two weeks or so, and sometimes it sucks cause we both know he missed out a lot.And he still treats me as if i was 10 or so. But I understand him and his life choices, just like I understand my mom too. I mean, they are not divorced or anything. he just lives and works in another country.
