What's the best way to learn how to use android smartphone like professionals, and could I use my phone to code and manage networking? Please suggest good books or websites or whatever you think is a good source for learning. I do not have a pc , smartphone is the best I can do! Make love not war ☮️❤️ pacific
As an android user, every "professional" i come across has an Iphone and acts all "hoity toity" about using an android, and actively uses dumb apps that are IOS only, as if to "gatekeep" apple products. My company isn't buying me a phone and all we're doing is messaging and using teamviewer. I'll be damned if i get a iphone just so i can message people I don't want to talk to in the first place. I have Text, call, FB messanger, email, and even TeamViewer. If you can't contact me on one of these things because you have to use your Iphone only bullshit, then I guess you just don't need to talk to me that badly.
I'm sorry that I kind of failed to answer your question in my 1st post,. I guess I feel some kind of way l o l Anyway I think the best way to learn is to just get one and use it.These things are designed In a way that even babies and toddlers can use them so don't be afraid and just pick it up and press buttons. If you really get Stuck or have Something complicated to do. , youtube video tutorials will be your next best help
You're may be restricted by the screen size of a smartphone, especially if you want to do coding. What sort of coding are you thinking of? Yes; if you want to network such as using zoom, a smartphone is fine. If you're thinking of coding for websites, I know of no-one who uses a smartphone of any description, except when testing the output (eg webpages). Let us know what type of work you plan to do and I'll try to help. @Death; The professionals I know - software creators/developers - they despise apple and all use android phones. Most dislike microsoft too and use desktops with Linux (Ubuntu or other flavor) installed which, they say, is cheaper and less hassle than windows. (I can't comment on current versions of windows because I'm on Linux and have been since 2012, when XP was ending).
the "professionals" I speak of aren't in the tech field, they're in the "professional business company" business. They're stupid as hell and live in perpetual debt to uphold images. I can smell their too much cologne a mile away and they always roll around 5 deep and are drunk..
Hi @Bluesman36, I use Android exclusively, having jumped from the Apple cart many years ago. I prefer the ease of use vs. the pretentiousness of iPhone users. Networking with Zoom or the likes is quite easy, just install the App from Google Play Store and you will find it easy to follow the instructions for easy use. I can manage this site from my Android Tablet in a pinch, but prefer the PC laptop as I like the full size keyboard and big screen. Simple coding can be done on an android device, but it really depends on what you want to do with your coding. Check these sites for more info: Can you code on a phone? and here is an hour long video on Youtube: Creating music with an Android seems to be quite easy and fun with an App called BandLab. Check it out if you are into creating music Ask me anytime for help! I don't know everything but do research things easily.
Yep, Death, that's why I clarified the tech connection. One of my brothers is one such professional as you describe. (not the drunkenness or debt part though). He's had nokia, blackberry then apple. He's quite brand obsessed too, like those he works and associates with. Thinks the best brands are better than the rest and he won't accept my opinion that most marketing is just professional BS. I just laugh when I get a 'computing machine' which would do everything he needs (and does everything I need it to - which is more than he needs). He spends 3-4k whereas I spend 300-500 gbp. He bangs on about every new piece of upgrade and I laugh due the relative irrelevance of all that, on my machine.
