Hey guys, I want to get circumcised but I have no one to talk to about it which is why I posted on here. I am just too nervous about what it involves etc, but I do want to get myself circumcised. Could you please answer the following: 1) My penis is only 3 inches when flaccid, would that be uncomfortable or would it make no different if I am circumcised with my size? 2) How do you get it done? Like do you need to book at your local doctors surgery, or go to the hospital etc. 3) I am 18 years old, nearly 19, is there any harm of getting it done at this age? Please answer the above because these are the top three things I am confused on. I am into BDSM and I have learnt it is better to get circumcised (for chastity reasons), which is why I am interested in getting it done. Thanks, Dan
I'd definitely just ask my family doctor about it if I were you. He or she would send you in the right direction.
I was at birth and glad I was, Easier to keep clean! but it's entirely up to you and check with your Doctor!!!!!
I've got this on my agenda too because of a change in religious convictions. Nothing's imminent though.
This thread makes me sad. Is it really that hard to keep your penis clean if you aren't circumcised? My husband never has a problem. Also, I greatly enjoy giving him handjobs because he has that foreskin. He never needs lube when he does it himself. I mean, if you want to do it, it is your body. As a woman though, I just don't think it is necessary in this day and age anymore.
I want to reverse my circumcision. I can't recommend removal of the foreskin. I hear that sex with it is MUCH better. And hey, PS. It's gonna hurt like a m*ther f*cker!!!!!!!
If you suffer from balanitis then maybe there are grounds for considering circumcision, otherwise there are absolutely no reasons to proceed with that stupid & vile procedure. Hygiene is most certainly NOT a valid reason to hack a foreskin off.
I had to have a partial circumcision as a result of a cycling accident years ago, when my forekin was badly cut. In subsequent years the scar kept splitting & re-healing, gradually pulling the skin tighter & tighter until it reached stage when I couldn't comfortably retract the foreskin, so some degree of surgery was necessary. Fortunately my surgeon was able to save some of the foreskin, so that I still get some degree of protection to the glans. However, even so there has been a great deal of loss to the sensitivity & the level of sexual pleasure experienced. There is also the question of aesthetics. It's always going to look scarred & mutilated, as opposed to having its original intact natural beauty. I'm 55 & had the procedure about 3 years ago now. If it hadn't been necessary I wouldn't have had it done & wouldn't advise anyone else to do so either, especially when not medically required to do so. You are still a teenager & still relatively inexperienced. You have many years ahead of you, and the procedure is a 1-way ticket. There's no going back if you change your mind. Of course, ultimately the choice is yours, but also bear in mind that during the healing process you can't have sex or masturbate for about 2 weeks. Personally I find 2 days difficult enough to cope with under normal conditions, but when you know you can't, that makes it forbidden fruit & even more agonising knowing that you have to refuse yourself. Then, you have to learn a totally different masturbation technique from what you've had a lifetime of getting used to.
It is your decision to make with a medical professional, and since you are doing it for BDSM, I'd include a kink friendly therapist, too. They exist. Better to get a chastity cage that fits with a foreskin, though.
Dude, ARE YOU NUTS? Why would you intentionally want to permanently MUTILATE yourself? You're one of the lucky ones, you escaped that as an infant. And now, at 18, you want to ruin your dick and your sex life for the rest of your life. I was mutilated as an infant and have a major resentment. I was robbed of nerve endings and the hood to protect the head of my dick which is naturally supposed to be soft and moist. I and every other circed guy had a piece of leather with 80% less feeling to it. Since you're into B & D, have an ear chopped off, it will be much more noticeable and more of a conversation opener. I would kill to have my foreskin!
The whole circumcision thing is so weird. I don't get why some folks get so mad about it and call it mutilation and be resentful over it. It's a preference. Nothing more, not reason to take it so personally. JimInPhilia...really dude? You have a major resentment over this? Sue your parents. Geeze...nonsense. MY opinion? An uncut one is about ugly. And...I know a lot of men are not that into being so well groomed that they will not clean this area a lot, like every time they pee. It is moist, dark...and stinks. yuk. How's that for being personal over a silly preference?
Well, I guess since male circumcision is OK, it's alright to do the same to females. 'It's no big deal.' Sure would look a lot better and do away with a nasty smell. Yuck.
You would not be able to do the same to females, we have no penis to circumcise. Got any more nonsense?
Red herring. Labial lips and clitoris aren't the usual source of odor, internal imbalances are. And a foreskin cleans up faster if one is skilled at actually doing this. So, please, my uncut brothers, give it a rinse at least daily. Soap isn't a friend, but some flowing water is.
Also dude. I share this story with all of the others out there who are militantly anti-circumcision: One afternoon I was stoned and naked staring at my cock. I was trying to remember being circumsised and for the life of me I can't. So I don't think I was really that traumatized by it. I don't feel like I'm missing anything because I don't have a foreskin. I don't think I was robbed of super powers or immortality because I was cut. I think if you are blaming your issues on being circumsised then the issue isn't circumcisison and is something much deeper than having a piece of skin cut off. tl;dr: GET OVER YOURSELF! C/S, Rev J
