Yea, it's probably just the ones around here... super shady places with massive amounts of drugs available at all times and probably just the people I personally know that do that job.

 

You might be surprised. Some nicer clubs often have one or two slack bouncers or bouncers that are getting bribes from some of the girls, so the management doesn't really know what those girls are doing. Other clubs get desperate for customers and decide to look the other way, maybe just for a slack period like January. And some dancers get short on cash for a while, like when they have car problems or get heavy into coke, and temporarily try things that they haven't done for money in the past. If you look at a dancer or a club and make assumptions based on appearance, there are going to be a few exceptions now and then that prove you wrong.

Another interesting dynamic that shows itself as you get older, if you look like you might have money: The older, afternoon shift girls may offer you extra favors because they are husband hunting. Most are divorced with kids and need a second paycheck in the family. They also realize that they will age out of the profession soon and will have to take a lower paying job. They don't give younger men the time of day.

And then, of course, there are the skanky, nasty clubs where everybody is into everything. No surprises there.

 

I know a lot of normal working girls (strippers). Just like any job you got the winners and the losers.
