I wanna give up.

This thread made me cry...Just a bit.I hope things get better for you Jay.I'm not very good at giving advice so I'll be quiet.

 

hope you start feeling better. happens to lots of us. i've been missing a lot of work lately because of anxiety problems... it sucks.

suicide isn't the answer, you should try talking to a psychologist or counsellor about your problems, it can really help.

lot's of people on here will tell you that psychedelics will turn you around, blah blah blah, but the truth is that they aren't a magic solution to your problem and you should probably hold off on that kind of stuff at least for a few years. you're very young and your brain is still developing.

not sure if you smoke weed or not, but if you do you should try taking a break for a few weeks/months and see if it makes a difference in your mood. try taking some vitamin B12, getting regular daily exercise, and trying to eat healthy meals. it's pretty amazing the difference these things can make.

Why not give up? I don't mean suicide, but just give up. Nothing wrong with that, it's a lot smarter than listening to the people throwing slogans at you like "be strong" and "things will get better".

 

They say those things out of experience, things really do tend to work themselves out

For me giving up means living a life of apathy and depression. It means doing nothing except wishing who I was, while feeding my Internet addiction looking up random junk or whacking off. Yeah, pretty lame life. Very unproductive, very negative. And it's only temporary. It's not a permanent solution down the line.

I certainly wouldn't encourage anyone else to "give up".

Why not to accept that your situation is shitty and you can't do anything about it? And keep living.

 

That's really not giving up, is it? I mean she's still wishing. She's got all these expectations which others have convinced her she must have - "I Must have this, I must have that". It's those I was talking about giving up.

you should give up.give up giving negative feedback to children in crisis!but thankfully our beautiful jay is way to smart ta buy inta that kinda negative bullshit.

Hang in there, things will change. You'll get a job if you keep trying, your ex will give up and you'll find a new boyfriend. Family is family, but even those relationships can get better.

It will be ok.

 

Do we know ho Jay is doing? It's been a few months.
