I wana try smokin pot, also cigs

    pot is one thing you wont regret except for the money thta is wiasted, but cigs dont even start man its literally impossible to quit

    I know this is old but...

    For a first time smoker, try to do it in a comfortable environment, perhaps put on your favourite music, get some nice munchies ready. Smoke with someone else who's more experianced to start so you can learn the ropes so to speak. Make sure you INHALE! So you can actually hear the air being sucked into your mouth. Hold for 5 seconds, (Jack Herer says so in his book so i do it =) and exhale. Then repeat til you can feel the positive vibrations.

    I'm guessing you are going to cough and perhaps have a panic attack

    I say start with a few hits of weed, if out of bong or joint just don't inhale too much, you won't expect how much smoke you will take in

    About ciggs; I say if you are comfortable with the weed, try one
    take an easy puff
    I recommend you suck the smoke from the cigg with some air, it is way different from weed
    Some people say fill your mouth up with smoke, than inhale air to get the smoke deep in your lungs.. I beg to differ
    It feels like a piece of radioactive metal bruising your heart
    just inhale lightly with your lips slightly touching it

    IMPORTANT
    1. Don't drop the bowl
    2. Don't hog the bowl
    3. Don't complain you don't feel anything yet
    4. Don't act too exited or annoying that you are "so messed up right now!!"

    You will probably have a panic attack (maybe even feel like you are dying)
    just get your mind off it
    get some water; its normal

    ^^ umm, I never had a panic attack or much less felt like I was going to die.

    Once, like maybe the fourth time I smoked, I smoked WAY TOO FUCKING MUCH, man, I can safely say I was tripping, (after having tried several pyschoactive substances) with loads of nausea... but didn't think I was going to die.

    Is this common, though? Panic attacks? Whatever, just take it slow, your body will usually tell you when it's been enough.

    yo when your smokin weed just relax, dont smoke any cigs tho they will fuck your life up. and just listen to what the people around you say and how to hit the bowl n shit get all the tips u can get so you dont fuck up.

    Ya ciggs are just so pointless
    I get a mild buzz that makes me feel like I am on pain killers for a few seconds
    Then Afterwards I get a mild cold sweat and feel really uncomfortable
    Occasional weed smoking is the way to go
    (.5-3 times/week)

    about risk of addiction:
    From the moment I tried weed, I knew I couldn't possibly get an addiction to it
    I had a respect for it, like it was a ceremony each time I tried it
    Ciggs- I never feel anything unless I try to suck a whole cigg in fast to get a head rush.. pointless
    I don't have the desire to try a cigg again unless maybe while really stoned, just a few hits
    I'd say the negatives outway the +s 10 to 1 for ciggs
    +s outway the -s 10 to 1 for weed

    just do as the people tell you. inhalings a bitch to learn but you get used to it simply inhale till your lungs are about a third to a half full then breath n some air and hold it for atleast five seconds longer if possible. also its fine to drink water dureing a sesh in my experiance.

    Ya nothings worse than trying to be a man the first time and inhaling fully only to cough and drop the bowl, continue coughing with a nervous sweat and feeling so embarrassed that you have a panic attack

    you will cough like hell. its better for you to smoke a joint ur first time rather than a bowl or a bong. its easier.

    If you are inhaling and you feel yourself about to cough, take the bowl away from ur mouth immeadietly so u wont cough into it or drop it. If you are coughing so much that its impossible for u to smoke anymore from that bowl, just hand the bowl to anyone and they will take care of it.

    As for cigs, try them at ur own choice, but I think you've been warned enough. I smoked cigs ever since I was 12. Well I tried them at 12 because I saw my dad's friends smoking them and I thought that its what adults do normally and tried it. I didnt like it that much when i tried it the first time, but after a few more times while I was pissed off (I heard that they can calm you down... well thats actually what it does to addicts). Well eventually I found out a couple other friends smoked cigs too n then my addiction kinda went from there.

    But I recomend that you just smoke the weed and nothing else. You will run into problems if ur drinking too and ur first time smoking. Trust me, if this first time turns out into a great high, you will be envied by a lot of us.

    Mainly its because a lot of us here have been smoking for so long that we dont get that kind of high anymore. Its usually the first few times you smoke that you get that high, but after that you get "used to it". The only time I'm able to achieve the "first-time high" (or anything close to it) is when I take off smoking for a while and when I smoke again, I take a couple nice bong rips.

    dude this original poster is so fucking rude. he posts a thread, loads of ppl reply and give advise, and he doesnt even show enuf respect to respond or even worse he might not have even read the replies. Guys dont even help him anymore unless he responds.
