My parents were from Cuba and I was born in the U.S. , but ever since I watched my first James Bond film I wanted to be British SO bad. Unfortunately, I can’t even do a British accent other than :” twat did you say? I **** hear you.”
    That’s all I got.
I am curious to know if people from other countries are like that about American accents?

... You might want to learn how to say, "The name is Bond, James Bond."

You won't find a better example of correctly spoken English than this.

If you want to talk posh, you need elocution lessons.

I thought John Nettleton who played Sir Arnold Robinson in Yes Minister had the perfect English accent.

One of the funniest things I remember, was the time when Robert Downey junior was attending elocution lessons to play Charlie Chaplin, in the film of the same name.
Richard Attenborough's chauffer picked him up a few days later and was horrified. They had been teaching Robert a cockney accent, rather than the Lambeth accident that Chaplin was brought up with. They are totally different.
The chauffer, who was originally from Lambeth himself, took over as his voice coach. The funny part was that he ended up returning to his native accent, which he had spent years trying to hide.

Another funny memory, was when our son (who was about 5 at the time), spent 6 months with Jane's parents on the west coast of Ireland.
When he came home, all his friends started calling him 'Paddy'. At his age, he had adopted the Irish accent within those 6 months. His London accent returned over a similar period.
