Woodstock, ya know, it's your choice, but you've got a hell of a lot of smart people trying to help you here. Our generation needs energetic, rebellious people if we're actually going to change the world. And it's damn hard to change the world if you're six feet under after OD'ing on one drug or another. Don't count on luck to become a rock star or anything else. Finish high school, and you'll have a lot more opportunities to chase your dreams. I'm your age, I know life really sucks. I'm stuck in Smalltown, Hicksville, USA and it drives me crazy every freakin' day, but all you're doing by running away is just that. You'd be running away from your problems instead of facing them. These are your words:

People that change the world are the people that deal with all the shit the world throws at them. Read all the advice on this thread, and do some serious thinking.

 

I don't know your life story (forgive me, I seem to be one of the apparently few who don't), but if you want your parents to treat you with trust, maturity and respect, then you will first need to behave in the appropriate fashion. Self-absorbed, melodramatic attention-seeking will not get you what you want.

Eh...you have the same spirit on you I did. You can't trust your parents and they have fucked you up by not expressing their love to you. You're already pimp bait & no reasonably intelligent guy will take in a girl your age when you run away. You will be stuck with some loser trying to scrape up enough change so you can split a bottle of cheap wine every nite, Wooo! Rock n roll!! Look, party if you have to, smoke weed, get drunk, but just stay away from shit like crack, powder cocaine, heroin..especially CRACK! It's really poison. I wish I could change your mind but I see where you're coming from too well. Most likely you will be out there for a few weeks then end up in a juvenile facility till you're 18.

 

Heya. I'd like to share with you a few little things. I mean, coming from a guy who's been high, drunk, on the road with a band, playing for crowds, partying, breaking into and living in a stranger's house; and hell, I'm stoned right now. I think i have enough experience on this broad and inclusive subject.

In a few years, you'll have limitless opportunities to do what you will. You'll be learning from life experiences until you die. I say live it up while you're young and lacking responsibilities. You get fed and taken care of, correct? I couldnt wait til i turned 18. That was, of course, before I realized what happens when we get older.

It takes a self-sufficient person to make it out in the world. Are you that type yet? Do you have the slightest clue where to go or what to do once/if you make it to San Fran? Who to trust? Do you realize that the place may have changed after.. I don't know.. 37 years? Most importantly, how does a fifteen year old girl get from El Paso to San Francisco with less than twenty bucks, a bike, and a guitar? Then again, can you even play guitar?

I suppose this thread is just another cry for attention.

well, i've talked to her quite extensively,its not a cry for helpbut a desperte need for even a tiny taste of freedom
shes definatelyin a not ideal sitiuation, but ..it could be far far worse on the road alone
she did at least promice not tojust take off without talking to me or us 1st although she feels there may be a time soon whrre she really hast toon a momments notice
we are trying to calm things there though..restore peace & male it more bearable
advice in that directioni hope would be more useful
