I think I'm being contacted? 100% Serious

Let me preface this by telling you a bit about myself. I'm 22 years old and recently received my BS in computer science. I'm a very critical/logical thinker. I don't believe in ghosts, spirits, or anything like that. I'm an agnostic atheist in the sense that I highly doubt there's a God but I don't rule it out completely, because no one really knows. My idea is if there really is a God he/she/it would have little concern with me or you, and anyone who claims to have answers is a liar or fooling themself. What's happened to me in the past 3-4 days have made me question some things. I've tried my best to come to ANY logical conclusion for the following events but I simply can't.

My dad's step-father died of a heart attack when I was pretty young. I'm not sure how old I was, maybe 8 or 10. He was my favourite grandparent when I was young. Whenever I would visit him he'd give me a little box of Chiclets (a type of gum candy), the one's that only hold two pieces. It's something he did everytime I went to their house. He had a huge drawer full of them. Lately I've been finding the same tiny boxes of Chiclets in my clothing, pockets and bed. At first it was just like "Oh cool, Chiclets!" and I'd just eat them and move on, but now it's getting very strange.

I found the first box of Chiclets in my jacket pocket. I had been wearing my windbreaker during the fall and just switched to my heavier coat for the cold weather. When I reached into the right pocket I noticed the box. This wasn't strange at all since I hadn't worn this jacket for months and months so who knows what would've been in the pockets. I ate them and moved on. That was 4 days ago.

I found the second box in my pants pocket. I noticed the rattling sound when I was walking around. I had just washed these pants the night before, along with all my other clothes, so there is no way it would have been in there from before. At first I thought I might have transfered them from my jacket pocket to the pants, but I checked and the first box was still in my jacket pocket. I thought it was strange, ate them, and didn't really pay too much attention to it. That was 2 days ago.

I found the third box in the same pocket of the same pants. I was at my girlfriend's house for the weekend and didn't bring any change of clothes, so I was wearing the same clothes from Saturday-Sunday. I did take off those pants for about 8 hours to sleep. No one at my girlfriend's place would have put them there. They weren't there before... that's when I started to pay more attention. That was yesterday.

I found the fourth box last night. It was 1:30AM and I had just got back from my girlfriend's place. I went to my PC to login, and as I started typing my keyboard went all off balance. I lifted up my keyboard, and a little box of Chiclets was wedged under one of the feet of the keyboard. There is absolutely no way that was there before I left on Saturday evening, as I was typing on it and there were no balance issues. I'm now seriously wondering what the hell is going on. I ate them and made sure to dispose of the box.

I found the fifth box this morning. I was up late working on a project and didn't get any sleep at all. Around 11 AM I decided to take a break and watch TV. I moved from my computer to my bed, lifted my covers, and climbed in. I always look in/around my bed before I get in, just to make sure I don't sit on the remote or anything. After watching TV for about 30 mins I went upstairs to grab a snack. I was up there for about 2 minutes, and when I returned there was another box of chiclets sitting right in the middle of my bed. I'm 100% sure that box wasn't there when I got in. I have no idea how it got there.

The whole idea sounds pretty dumb. I mean a ghost dropping random boxes of Chiclets? I guess it could be worse. I tried to think of logical reasons for what's happening. Honestly I don't even know where to buy Chiclets. I haven't seen them in years. I thought they stopped making them or something. It was Halloween recently but I didn't buy or receive any candy, no one was in my house that could've planted them there, and it happened both at my house and my girlfriend's. I asked if she did it and she said no. The strange thing is when I mentioned this to my girlfriend she said he grandfather (deceased) did the EXACT same thing with her, giving her the little boxes of Chiclets. I couldn't beleive her since it's a very narrow/specific thing, but it's true. My girlfriend is seriously freaked out by this.

I'm not sure what's going on but I'm going to find out. I'm setting up cameras around my house tonight to film while I'm sleeping/away. I don't think my camera has night vision or whatever, so I may just keep some lights on. I'll try to get whatever I can on video. I'm still not convinced there's a "ghost", or if ghosts even exist, but I can't explain how these boxes keep appearing. Has anyone experience something like this?

 

If this is true, than it is funny. Did your grandfather have a good sense of humor?

 

Yeah I wouldn't believe it even if my own mother told me. I'm the first person to call bullshit on paranormal stories but this is real. My grandpa was a joker, yeah. The whole idea is so dumb though. Try explaining to people how you think "something" is following you around with boxes of Chiclets...

 

Yeah, sounds like your grandpa is just having fun, as well as trying to get your attention. Don't overthink it, dude, just go along with it.

As for your beliefs, I'd recommend looking into the spiritual science side of things. You can experience a lot by detoxing your pineal gland.

 

The most plausible explanation is that someone is fucking with you (or that your story is bullshit and you're fucking with us).

Did you ever tell anyone about your grandfather giving you chiclets?

Anyone have access to be able to plant the chiclets?

Any control number on the chiclets that might be used to trace their origin?

 

You better believe it. It's who you think it is that's doing it.Someday you'll understand that kind of stuff,it does happen and it did happened to me but in a different way.As it was said before,go along with it and enjoy your grampa's company... cheers

 

Wow! I have no advice but that's pretty wild.

 

Maybe you sleep walk and bought them the last time you were out. Then at night or wherever, you put them around while in your sleepwalking state.

That or someone is playing a trick on you.

I have heard of people finding pennies around, reminding them of someone from the past, but they are left by other people accidentally and the person is just finding them all over.

 

If this story is true then to me this sounds like a ghost getting your attention the best way it knows how and doing it in such a way that you will know who it is. As an occultist my advice to you is to acknowledge that he is there and ask him if he needs your help and to try to communicate that to you with dreams or however he can. If he is hanging around then that means he has not moved further along into death and is hanging on to something. It's not a bad thing if he intends to move on once his mission is accomplished but his reasons could be fear based. He is a beloved family member so if this story is true then I would try to get to the bottom of why he is there. Talk to him out loud when you are alone and have the chance. What he is doing with the chiclets is an awful lot of work for a spirit to do just for laughs.

I have a couple of questions and I hope this doesn't come across the wrong way in type because I don't mean to be insulting.....

How do you become an "occultist" and how are you so sure of what you said in this post? Just wondering.

 

A lady who is friends with my with had an experience about 4 or 5 years ago that is similar to what you have posted. She kept finding Lincoln logs everywhere after her son died.

My explanation was that she was doing this herself consciously or unconsciously because of the state of mind she was in. I do not believe in ghosts. I believe people want to feel good and under great amounts of emotional strain they are forced to find peace, consciously or not.

However, I am not all-knowing and can't say that there definitely are no so such things as ghosts. Whatever is happenning, I hope it turns out good for you and everyone involved.

 

I have asked spirits for answers before, and seen physical signs of their acknowledgement.

I've also seen things w/o asking.


In terms of the Chiclets, I can't say. Have you been getting drunk and going to Mexico at all? I don't know about items materializing, or traveling distance from other places. For example, I can't imagine a pack of Chiclets flying through the air, entering your house and moseying their way into your trousers. However, I have seen a book fly forcefully off a nightstand, cabinets (ordinarily swollen shut) open and close spontaneously. I've heard footsteps when I was alone..

I understand. The occult is a broad term that covers a wide range of esoteric studies. To be an occultist one does not need a degree like becoming a dentist lol. You simply have to study it enough for you to decide what aspect of occultism you wish to practice and then practice it. I practice western ceremonial magic combined with vision magic. There are however some topics that you may find more revealing than others when you begin to work with the spirit world...and I mean work with not just read about. It takes time to develop a sense of the flow of energy and the patterns that are woven around us but if you keep pushing you will run into some things. Human ghosts are the most common types of spirits next to parasites(which people often mistake for demons) and land spirits.

When you do not have the ability developed to simply see and hear a ghost and they really want your attention, then they have their work cut out for them. If they have learned to manipulate the physical world (which takes practice for them and some never learn how) then they will do the best job they can do to send you a message and try to get you to figure it out.

Try to imagine yourself in that situation. No one can see or hear you but you can move things and you are trying to figure out how to let a living person know that you are there and that it is you specifically. Well if you always gave that person chiclets and you do the same thing now over and over until they start to realize this is not a coincidence then maybe they will finally see what you're trying to do.
