idk, I never wake up reaching for my cannabis.. you might say im a habitual marijuana user?.. yes/no Then why is it , I wake up and smoke tobacco and have a cup of coffee?.. I dont smoke marijuana for at least 2hours upon waking from sleep, if I even do sleep...
I'm not trying to tell you people that marijuana is addictive compared to anyting else. I'm just saying I have a mental addiction. And that it's not even a problem in my life. It's actually the least of my problems.
I'm from Florida, and we aren't paranoid. cautious at best on a good day. most of the time we walk or ride bikes down the street passin a blunt.
i don't think i have ever smoked weed on a bike...but i ride my bike a lot. i should try that. newrad on here told a story of this kid ripping a bong, repacking it and ripping it again on a bike with no hands. this was an online competition to win like a $600 bong. he won. i'm pretty addicted to weed too. lately it kinda has been bugging me that i'm too much of a wuss to stop smoking when i kinda want to. but after a day or two...i don't wanna anymore i have noticed that i do get some "withdrawal" symptoms when i quit smoking. i have trouble sleeping, i get sweaty during sleep, i might be grumpy and lose my appetite, and the one good one - i have more vivid dreams that i remember i know it's not like being addicted to crack or heroin
How do I go about that?? Seems a little hard to do. If you honestly got any tips I would love to hear them. I am talking to a friend at the dispensary, I hope they can help me find something.
Probably a lot better to be addicted to weed than to alcohol. With alcohol, you'll eventually need a liver transplant. I think all of the stereotypical effects of weed can happen though. Loss of motivation and energy, memory loss, paranoia, anxiety, depression. Not everyone gets these negative effects, and not everyone becomes a problem smoker. It can happen though, and I wish I had known that before I started. Maybe some people can quit really easily, but for a lot of people it can be really hard. It can be done though. I think I've said this on other posts, but I'll plug it again. Acupuncture can help. Meditation, tai-chi, yoga, qi gong etc. can help.
weed is physically addictive in some, some CANNOT sleep without it. that is physical addiction, most don't suffer this mainly just the mental side. i found weed withdrawals = extreme boredom, weed use = being extremely boring (LOL only in high doses though) Think my last j is in order.
I never had withdrawl symptoms other than really wanting to get high/ not feeling good without it, but I have heard of people having physical withdrawl symptoms. Insomnia is one, also breaking out in sweats, bad mood, etc. Pretty minor compared to withdrawl from other drugs. It's still an indication that it's not just in your head. I think the physical/psychological addiction distinction doesn't really mean too much, because the "psychological addiction" is a reflection of the chemistry that's going on in your brain. The psychological addiction is as real as if you had no observable physical symptoms. The issue seems to be how hard it is to give up an addiction, and how severe the withdrawl symptoms are. I think it's safe to say that weed is a lot easier to give up than alcohol or hard drugs. And you are not going to drop dead from quitting weed cold turkey.
I used to always think things would be better if I were stoned.. But I have been cutting down and its really easy honestly.. after about 3 days the dependence on sleeping and eating and stuff just kinda goes away
