Okay, Tyrsonswood, and anyone else who thinks they drink strong coffee. Give me your measurements coffee to water. I'm shocked because I just measured mine with a measuring spoon.
Fine, I'll go first. My coffee is 5 tablespoons of coffee to 1 cup of water. I run it through an Aeropress
ive been buying the at the walmart for 2dolla. its pretty good . not very perky with measly 12mg of caffeine but thirst quenching none the least..
I'll have to look at the brand in the DG. It's in a single serve square bottle. It's good. It might be that brand you pic'd., Ori.
Quoted for emphasis! Very common for people around me too. I only make a pot in the morning though and drink about 3 cups. About that last thing: I love a beer and I love my coffee but at the same time seems disgusting to me...! So lately when I'm at my friend's sunday evenings drinking a couple of beers his neighbour (syrian refugee) comes by with arabian coffee (always calls first if my friend wants some ) and my friend drinks that strong sweet arabian coffee just right next with his beer! It seems so horrible to me! He generally offers me too but really, even though I like coffee a lot, I don't even wanna think about it when I'm having a cold beer Don't mind a nice cup when it's hot outside though. Rather have hot coffee then than iced, which I never drink. Same with ice tea. On topic : I think I'm addicted too but since I have no problems with it after my 'fix' in the monring I don't care about it one bit
3 heaping tablespoons of turkish grind... for one cup of coffee. (it's all about the grind) There's enough strength left in the grounds for a second "normal" strong cup. That first cup is called "HolyMotherOfSludge" even though there's no sludge. It's kind of like drinking straight syrup from a soda fountain cola.
5 Table Spoons Per A Cup......Surely You Have To Be Joking......This Sounds Like A Shortcut To A Heart Attack...... :yikes: Cheers Glen.
i had one of those little home expresso machines. i like mocha as an after dinner desert drink. but that's pretty much the only coffee i do drink. its not even something i have every day. i like it ok, its just not a major part of my life.
That sounds like Pure Leaf Tea. Their tea is amazing you can get a few flavors like peach and lemon and they also have a really good unsweetened iced tea.
I ground mine finer this afternoon and 3 tablespoons tasted as good as 5. I'll see how the caffeine effects compare.
