It's horrible. But you know, I think I dislike the Jehovah's Witnesses a little more. In fact, I was even contemplating making a thread about them, but the Bible thumpers got the spotlight. Grrr at them for throwing me off track!

 

hahaha. I HAVE met Jehovas. They used to come to my door and ask for me specifically. I liked to show them my pentacle. The main woman was deceptively sweet. This gorgeous french women. I liked to have conversations wth them because she was so sweet, until the day she told me she was against blood donors and all that jazz. What an idiot.

 

i won't donate blood to the red cross, but probably for very, very, very different reasons than her.

Jehovah's Witnesses are the biggest phonies ever. They act all sweet to your face, but you're not fit to be their friend if you're not one of them. And any religion that can turn families against each other is shit.

 

meh, there are others just as bad, and worse. most of the worst are relatively unknown. most of the "just as bad" are, too....

I had a friend who was a Jehovah's Witness in high school and since then, he's been excommunicated from the church because he married an excommunicated member. As far as I know, his family's pretty much disowned him as well.

You guys are getting banned already? The mark of a good troll is longevity. You have to ease into it.

Though I must say I find the raids entertaining, you don't really get under their skin that way. I like to stick around for a while and make it more personal.

Also: sometimes if you appeal personally to a moderator, they'll let you back on if you make a good argument. It's worked several times for me. But who knows with this place. It works better if there are more mods so they don't remember you.

my dearest friend in high school was a devout jehovah's witness. he was the coolest ever. we went to his wedding and were generally inseperable for four years. we called him a jojoba and told people he went door to door selling little green bottles of shampoo and bitched at him for not getting us christmas presents, too.
