i think everyone in here should read this

I mean, the eyes are definitely a huge factor for me regarding the Awareness. But to get super fluffy on you, i can even feel it in the wind, or i can see it while looking at my guitar. So, this mysterious awareness does go beyond the eyes for sure. But obviously this isn't going to do anything for you. You just gotta feel it out yourself man.

When a man and a woman are in true Union, union means union. It means you've lost yourself, and you would give yourself to the other because you ARE the other. There is no other. I understand how flowery and fluffy it all really sounds. But it's LITERALLY the case, and i don't know how else to phrase it.

When you completely lose yourself in a piece of music, it's because you've actually forgotten yourself. You've completely and timelessly merged with the music that you're listening to. There's no seperation between you and the music that you're listening to. You just become the music itself.

As far as the blind and retarded person goes, i don't know what to say about that as i have not encountered either in quite a long time.

 

Ok fair enough, I'm sure blind and even retarded people to an extent could have those feelings of awareness too.

I think I look for what you are describing, I certainly connect very deeply with music but I feel very detached from this awareness/union you describe. I don't feel very connected and stuff. I mean what you are describing really sounds like a Christianity thing to me. I mean that's what I was raised around so that's what I'll relate it to, just like God is all around and runs within you, throughout you etc.

So far I experience a definite disconnect and detachment but its ironic this topic is going on with the caption under my username I just added.

I don't think this or the bible is something that can really be looked at logically. It something beyond human logic, you have to take it with an open heart and feel what it is trying to commune to you.

Like I said before your soul, spirit, awareness, whatever does not have to do with the physical. You can have 3 physical people with different dna who all have the same soul. Its something outside of our normal concept of logic, at the same time, it might be completely logical for God.

Watch "Alan Watts is God for ten minutes" on youtube. It defiantly ties in with this story.

 

there are fundamentalist who try to take the bible literally and logicically though. It seems as if you are trying to at least take this literally and I can't get caught up in anything like this that you even concede has no basic in logic. My blind faith is not that strong.

 

I only like this story because everything that was said in it agrees with and promotes what I already learned from psychedelics and meditation. Its like damn, this person is saying what I've been wondering and thinking this whole time, its not just me!

guerillagrammarwhore, its not like i just read a story some kid wrote and started my own religion off of it. People read the bible and yea it makes no sense but they believe it anyways, but im showing this to people who actually trip and experience this kind of theory first hand. People who read the bible pretty much read it because everyone else is doing it and they find a sense of what they think god is and gain faith. same with those who use hallucinogens, the only difference is the trippers actually experience this presence of god (or the source or whatever you want to call it) firsthand.

Basically what im saying is i trip acid, and this story relates to everything psychs has taught me, and it looks like it does with a lot of members in these forums as well, which is why i posted the story. Im not trying to prove that THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU DIE, im just sharing thoughts, so why are you trying to disprove what some kid who obviously tripped some psychs wrote down and blogged to some remote internet site? i swear people on these forums are so up their own asses with their theorys and "knowledge" they wont listen to someone elses ideas.

 

How can I disprove something that has no basis in logic and is not verifiable?

Im just sharing thoughts as well, I already said I can read it metaphorically but I can't really connect with it at a level beyond that and I think one should be careful in how they read it. I trip too in no way would I say I have the same soul as Hitler and I would hope most other people dont either especially those who have seen the fragileness of consciousness swept away by LSD and other psychedelics. Its cool you posted it, but I simply have differing view on it that apparently does not agree with you.

 

word, but just because hitler killed millions of jews he made his soul extra bad? i like to believe everyones soul is equally beautiful no matter what crimes they commited here on earth. people kill people everyday, do you think your soul is better the than soldiers fighting the wars?

 

As of now it seems that you are separate from Hitler, but you are apart of him, and him apart of you. Its like a dream, in the dream there is all these people with all these different characteristics and actions, but when you wake up its just you. Now your in the dream, you have your own life your own karma to work out, your own ego. But when that you dies, when all your karma is done, when all your lifes have been worked through, then you wake up. That little ego dies and you become the whole existence.

This is my experience from a mushroom trip, in that realm, its you in the pure state, there is no good or evil because there is no evil to commit, there is no good to commit, its just you being. Its the you before you, and you have no where to go, no agenda, it is already here, its total. It is beyond you and hitler and everyone else, it goes beyond separateness, that is how we are all apart of each other.

This story was posted on HF months ago: interesting to see how differently everyone is responding this time around. Last thread, everyone was just expressive at how they could relate to the idea, but didn't take it as fact: just an interesting thought.
