I lift weight and I eat meat.

Meat is very expensive in Turkey but still spend my money on it. Because I wanna gain muscle. I lift weight once 2 days and I eat meat.

I work with dumbells at home because gyms are closed... I started spending a bit too much money on meat. It is better to spend money on meat than alcohol after all.

My mother is from Kutahya and we eat Tattar Qulagh. My family served in the OTTOMAN Army when Sultan Abdul Hamid was alive 120 years ago.

It's a moderate quality fast food restaurant in America. They started with OK roast beef then switched to poor quality ground up, compressed, and pressed with caramel sauce. You can eat it but better to avoid it. They have OK Turkey (Deek Rumi) sandwiches. They have OK fish sandwiches. They have OK chicken strips which are bearded and fried French style. In the USA you will not find anything as good as Middle Eastern Lamb meat. The Amish Christians in the Mid West raise lambs and allow the Muslims to slaughter Halal way. So, that would be the nearest lamb meat. The Muslim grocers get their Halal meat from the Amish farmers.

In cowboy country, that's called well marbled ... meaning good fat.

    Yes I like marbled.

Actually the fat is good for digestion.
    Just saying.

That depends on how you prioritize in your budgeting.

You can make your diet one of the fundamental aspects in your budget. Some people spend A LOT on healthy groceries, just because that's who they are.

I used buy the good stuff, myself. Grass fed beef, or organic or whatever.... It's better for you, honestly.

Consider the hormones they give beef cattle as one example. You don't really want to ingest that stuff. Over a lifetime, the chemicals we eat influence our health.

Grandeur, anyone who criticizes your spending on health should really consider the context of alcoholism as you propose. There are better things than booze to spend your money.

I remember... back in the day (like 2011 or 2010) I would drink at least 2 six packs every night.

Yeah, Arby’s isn’t all that great, but they have a cool voiceover actor in Ving Rhames

Which btw sounds a lot better than his real name Irving Rhames which just doesn’t fit his 6’1” 250 lbs. muscular physique....lol...

I know two people who became very sick because of vitamin deficiencies. They were both complete Vegas and did not get enough minerals and vitamins. One -a man- had to have a blood transfusion to save his life. I try to take in less than 1800 calories each day. I like fruits and veggies; but, I do take eggs with onions and green beans in the morning. It's called Koo Koo Lubia by the Persians. I also eat lots of granola, more than others. I try to avoid red meats but do like lamb and Yankee Pot roast. The pot roast is an all day job in the crock pot. When I lived in Colorado, I learned Mexican/Spanish cooking with green chili so I like that too. The cowboy cooking in Colorado was Pinto Beans with chunks of ham and some corn bread or Texas style sour dough biscuits. When I went to the UK I tried Steak & Kidney Pie with some Ale. It was good. But, I really didn't eat too much over there, because I was chasing all the beautiful British and Irish women, and kissing them too!
