I don't see how you can blame people for being angry and too continue being angry, some people see cats like their children.
at the end of the day, you killed a living being, if you wish to talk about it then common sense says you will have to live with people judgeing you and not being ok with it.
certainly what you did was against the law, so if I where you instead of being ouraged for people not being kinder to you, I would have a good think of who you tell in future, because people will be harsh and they shouldn't be blamed for that.
and yes this is confessions but at what point does common sense kick in and make a person think well I shouldn't share that

I really don't give a shit about what any of you think of me. I don't have anything to hide, so you can chill out with the common sense shit. Like I have been saying throughout the thread, I regret what I did. It's not like I'm trying to make excuses for it. I know it was wrong, so quit being a bitch about it and just accept that I'm sorry I did it and I don't intend on doing it again.

 

This is why we should listen to ourselves, look deep inside ourselves, and ask what we really WANT to do. Nevermind the "must"s and "musnts"...Faced with that situation what would have been better is if youd have said to yourself "do i really actually believe its good to kill the cat?"
I hardly ever say to myself "i must..." I say rather "i want to..." If i dont want to, i dont, and if i do, i do. That is the only rule. If my soul and my entire being is truly comfortable with it, then its right. If not, its not.

I think this is the best way to think, as there is a rebel within us all, to greater and lesser degrees. A kid which is told "you must not eat too many sweets" is pretty sure to gorge itself stupid. One which thinks "i dont want to eat too many sweets. If i do ill feel sick and horrible" is much more likely not to.

That's how I always think. I did want to kill the cat when I did it, but directly afterwards, I felt remorse and regret for doing so. I still do what I want. It just so happens that killing animals is not something I want to do anymore. I have grown up and see things completely different than I once did.

seriously go to the people of cat you killed and say 'i'm sorry and i'll never do it again' and then have an attitude problem if they can't accept it.
forgiveness and acceptance is whats given to someone when people feel ready, NOT demanded by the person who has done wrong.

Apologise to the owners of the cat? It was my cousin's cat and he is the one that actually fired the shot that killed th cat. I have told many people in person and they didn't really give a shit. They thought it was hilarious, which shocked me. Like I said, I don't have anything to hide, from anyone, on the internet or otherwise. I am not demanding that people accept my sorrow and forgive me; it's not your place to forgive me. I just have to forgive myself. So the real issue here is the shotgun called to him, made him come and get it and chase that cat up a tree, demanded he load it, pull the trigger and shot that cat out of the tree. Then it again called out, "the job is not done, shoot it again" Thus knowing shotguns are right he obeyed as he should have. Then in true sportsman fashion he failed to gut and skin it and make a nice batch of cashew kitty. Well he knows better now and your all invited over to his place next week after a little stray clean up.
