I don't get why everyone is giving him such a hard time about it. Shooting a cat is obviously not a cool thing to do. He knows that, and I'm sure he feels bad about doing that, from his own conscience, and not from people demonizing him. I think it's honourable to confess to doing something wrong; even though what he did was quite immoral, and maybe sadistic, but I respect him for admitting it. One single action isn't enough to condemn a person. If he did it repeatedly, then that's a problem. But he didn't.
We've all fucked up before. He owned up to it. Let's let him be.
