Perhaps I should clarify. America HAS ruined the English language. Not because of the changes America has made in its official version of the language, but through the cinema, internet, pop music, and all these other media through which the States enforce themselves upon countries many of them haven't even heard of - together with their poor education system, they're actually spreading these horrendous grammatical and spelling errors through their youth, and it's reaching the rest of the world.

If everyone spoke American properly, there wouldn't be anything like as much of a problem.

Also, notice that we're quite happy with what's happened to English in Australia. Well we tolerate it anyway.
